Today my mom, Elysha, Parker, Kennedy and I went to see Cars 2

It was alright..

long

kinda boring

but not bad

This is Parkers race car face (he's making race car noises) on one of the many potty breaks

Momma and Kennedy in her purple wedding dress and princess shoes..

She told me it was her wedding dress....

I love this picture because about .5 seconds after it was taken Parker put on his race car face and took off running down the sidewalk, out into the parking lot, and down the side of the building faster than Elysha could run.

He squealed his tires and he was gone!

Paper Mache Pinata

This weekend for our friends bachelorette party Hailey and I made a paper mache pinata!

We haven't done this since about 5th grade but figured what they hey why not!

It was SO messy but so much fun

We seriously were covered in flour water mixture

Can I just say the end product was AMAZING!

However extremely inappropriate..

 you wont see the finished product!

But trust me.. it was fab!

Big Ol Cats

My Dad and his friend Dennis Gay were out fishing on the Bear River and caught some big ol cats. We had to run them out a new heavy duty net.

They were trying to bring one into the boat and it snapped the handle on the net.

We met them at the boat launch that was underwater just a week or so ago when we went out.

Ar-B-Q

Sunday my parents had an Ar-B-Q

Its an Archery BBQ

They invite their archery group...

Oh and did I ever mention my parents have an archery range set up in their front lawn?

Its a popular attraction

They have all kinds of different yard markers set up

and it goes over clear to the neighbors

R.I.P Spot #2

When I came home from work this morning...

I found this..

Spot floating in his bowl

He was supposed to go home to Hailey today.

I threw some food in there just in case he was faking it hoping he'd move

He lasted a whole 8 days at our house.

Walmart had a policy that if the fish died with in 7 days they'd replace it for free..

Spot was just fine when I left for work and Kennedy has been so good with him.

We just aren't meant to have goldfish!

I told Hailey shes getting an empty bowl back!

Somersaults

I got a phone call from Kinlie this morning..

Jessica.. This is Kinlie.

Hi Kinlie

Jessica I have a problem

Ok..

I have no one to play with!! Can Kennedy come play??

Haha of course Kennedy can come play!

So that's what they did.

Played and played

and played

They started doing somersaults in the front yard

Followed by movies at Aunt Jessy's house!

I was in the kitchen making dinner

Kennedy was arguing with me because she wanted a sandwich instead of chicken

I kept telling her too bad.

You're eating what I'm fixing.

She said " BUT MOM! I'm a grown up!"

I said  you are??

She said "YES! I have a sunburn that makes me a grown up!"

Fishin

Ever since I was just a tiny thing my dad and I have always gone fishing

Us fishing over 20 years ago

All these old pictures of us reminds me of that new Trace Adkins song Just Fishin

This Saturday we went out fishing on the Bear River

This was the first time ever I'd been on a boat on the Bear.

Ive always just fished from the banks

We had to launch from the slough in Corinne

The other boat ramp was still under water

After you come into the slough and head up river there is the Old Corinne bridge you have to go under

The water was SO high we had to lay flat on our backs to go under and had about a foot of clearance.

You cant tell we were having any fun!

We had just gotten to the spot where we were going to fish at.

I was rigging up my pole

My dad just cast his line into the water and grabbed a drink

SLAM

The fish took the bait.

It was "here hold my drink!!"

"No wait. Hold my pole and give me my drink!"

So he let me reel it in.

Not bad for the first fish of the year

This ended up being the SMALLEST fish we kept

We kept getting bites and nibbles like crazy

These little guys were teasing us.

We had 3 this size we threw back

Then dad landed this great Catfish!!

My first fish on my new fishing pole I got for my b day

I threw him back but now my pole has caught one!

We ended up with 4 keepers

It was too dark to get any more pictures.

We headed in right as a rain storm was coming in and made it off the water just in time!
