Ogden Horse & Hitch Parade

Tonight was the Ogden Horse and Hitch parade down Washington blvd.
Liz and I took our horse crazy lil cowgirls down there to watch.
It was perfect we parked at my work and put them in strollers and walked up!
We sat on the east side just as the sun was setting.
Everyone was packed on the west side so we had almost the whole thing to ourselves!
A lady with the Standard Examiner took our pictures and asked for our info.
Lets hope they are decent picts! haha

 Flags and Cowboys..
Whats more American than that

SO MANY of the people were waving at us.
I think its cause cute Kennedy and Kinlie kept waving and smiling at them

 Getting candy

Getting some lavender oil so they could smell so pretty

 Our friend Kelsie

Best attempt at a group shot.
The kids were a little hot by then

Lotto Ride

After the BBQ Mom, Dad and I headed to Idaho for lottery tickets.
Left from Bear River, went through Honeyville and up past Beaver Dam, through Trenton and into Idaho.

We were riding along and all of a sudden something flew up in front of me from by dads bike, between me and my windshield and right at my head! I had to duck and it missed me.
I thought it was a pop can but quite didnt look right.
Mom saw it rolling across the road and stopped ..
Turns out it was my dads highway peg!!
Good thing I had my helmet on!!
We were able to pick it up and he put it back on
We stopped at La Tienda just across the border.
Got some lottery tickets and drinks.
Sat in the shade for a min and headed back home!

It was 101 degrees when we got down into Logan on the way home!
So nice to take a family Sunday drive!
Each one of us rides Vulcan.
Its a family thing!

Welcome Home BBQ

Nic (Liz's husband) is done with his deployment in South Korea so his family had a welcome home bbq.
Since they have only been married about 2 months we were invited out to 'meet the family'
It was at his grandparents home in Bear River.
Mom, Dad and I rode our motorcycles out there because we were going for a ride after.
