Bailey Sue

Tuesday we took Chris's dog Bailey for a run to the water

He said last year she hated water and to swim and this year she loved it!

We went to Mayors Pond in Brigham and let her fetch

Believe it or not Ive NEVER been there before

So while those two played I went for a walk around the pond

Chris and Bailey played around the pond also and came and met me by where the river feeds into it

On the walk back around we found this baby rattlesnake

Even looking at this picture still makes my feet crawl!

We left the pond right as the wind started to really kick up

Bailey sure loved it she didnt want to go home

New place

First thing that happens when we get to the new place is Chris has to vacuum

We moved in with new paint all throughout the place and brand new carpet

His mom JaNeale, his step dad Jimmy, bro Hunter, sister Ashely and baby Rylee all were over to help

His step mom Jana and dad Todd had dinner for us

We went to work busting ass til 1130 that night unloading and getting stuff inside 

got enough done to have a bed to crash on and called it good

The next morning we spent ALL DAY moving, arranging, unpacking, unloading

It was ridiculous

JaNeale and Jimmy took us on a shopping trip to Walmart and spoiled us!!!

We were all so wiped out

Hunter and Kennedy crashed on the couch

Grandma JaNeale had a project she picked

She wanted to do Kennedy's room

WOW! 

She spoiled her

Kennedy helped her put together her drawers

JaNeale BOUGHT her this bed

Her big girl bed..

Mattress, princess sheets, new quilt, treasure chest w/princess stickers to put on it, princess window sticker, the flower stickers, new dresser

She completely made Kennedy's day

She organized her room

Got her some new hangers for her clothes..

Kennedy was so happy to spend her first night in her new room

She snuggled down in her sheets and kept saying over and over how much she loved it and loved her new room and our new house

I started bawling

I was so happy and so thankful and so grateful for it all

They all stayed up here this weekend to help us get everything finished

I had to work on Sunday 

By the time I got home from work they had organized our kitchen.. which was a huge relief..most of the living room was done

They had cleaned out the old apartment

Todd shampooed the carpets

JaNeale cleaned up there also

Got everything out of the fridge

and it was ready to go

I was so overwhelmed this weekend

It was unreal 

His family helped out SO much

I couldn't even begin to express my thankfulness for them and all they did

The hardwork, long hours, long days..

Moving sucks ass ha!

Ashley cooked us dinner

Todd and Jana worked hard at the old place

Ashley, JaNeale, Jimmy, Hunter and Chris busted butt getting our new place together

And JaNeal spoiling us

She said consider it an early wedding present 

I am such an independent person that it was so hard for me to accept

I don't do well with people even buying me a drink 

let alone spoiling us like this

It was very very difficult for me

BUT I am so very very appreciative and thankful and speechless about it all

There is no way to even express how thankful I am for it all and everyone

Chris has a wonderful family and I am so happy to be apart of that!!

My parents are gone deer/elk hunting right now

I hope they fill their tags!!!!!!

Boxes Boxes and Boxes

I swear this last week our life has revolved around boxes and fast food

BLAH!!!!

We had almost everything all packed up Thursday night 

Mcdonalds for dinner on boxes in the living room

Chris did have time to go on a grass fire ha

Our whole place smelled like smoke from him

Friday was the big day

We weren't really sure until the last second what day we would actually be able to move in

however we got the keys Friday night and started then!

The carpet layers were supposed to be gone but still had an hour to go when we showed up

Work hard..Play harder

This weekend was so busy!

Monday I had to work some overtime

Chris's brother Hunter was still up here

By the time I got home from work Monday night Liz, Chris, and Hunter had the trailer full of stuff to move out 

Kennedy needed a bath so we started her some water

Kinlie didn't want to bath

Kennedy told her well I'm getting in

They both ran up  the stairs and were naked and in the tub with their barbies before you could blink

We watched movies Monday night and hung out

Tuesday morning Chris's mom JaNeale came up for the Temple open house

Her, Hunter, Kennedy, Me, Ashley, Rylee and Ash's friend Sarah and her two kids all went out to Ricardo's to eat

After that Hunter and JaNeale went to the open house

Chris came home from work and we headed over to Ashley's for dinner

Kennedy wanted her toenails painted and I didn't have time because I was still getting ready

Chris volunteered

After dinner at Ashley and Derek's we all went to a bonfire at Zacks

Hes leaving town for two months to Minnesota so we all got together

There was Elysha, Dane, Parker, Me, Chris, Kennedy,Hunter, Liz, Kinlie and Zack

The first thing Parker said to Kennedy when he got out of the car...

"Kennedy I will play with you but NO KISSES! And don't try and act like you're 5 by standing on your tip toes. You're really only 4 still"

(As hes standing there with his one hand out to stop her from even coming close and trying to kiss him)

Grilled up some brats

Started a fire

Zack has a whole bunch of kid toys inside his house

I think its so funny because he doesn't have any kids but it comes in so handy!

The kids love them and spend most the time inside playing with them

Well..

The kids were playing on the swings and I wanted to go play too

Like I have done a hundred times on his swings

So I go over and go to swing on my stomach

I run and get some height 

and on the swing down there's a problem 

Not sure if its cause its dark I didn't hold my face up high enough

or because I was on the lower swing of the two..

But I stopped the swinging with my face

Mostly my nose and lips

It swelled up huge and my eyes were streaming as I was laughing

I didnt cry but my eyes were watering like crazy!!!

This was just seconds after it happened and you can already see the lump forming

Of course my sister thought it was hilarious and put it on Facebook

My sinuses swelled shut that night 

Thankfully most of the swelling is gone and I can feel my lips again

Its really a good thing I go back to work today

My arms and legs are covered in bruises from tubing 

My nose is all swollen

My muscles hurt from playing, and tubing and packing

I need a few days of staying indoors lol

The next morning we went to visit Chris for lunch and take him some Dixie Grill

He was just finishing up at the park moving goals out

After that we spent the whole rest of the day and night packing packing packing!!

Boatin on the Bay

Sunday we all went out on the bay to play

Todd, Hunter, Chris, Kennedy, Alex

 and I

The weather was perfect!!

We mostly just played on the tube

I talked Kennedy into going out with me

She would go as long as Grandpa Todd drove

This was her first time in a tube

She was apprehensive about it but had fun

Chris and I rode double on the tube too

I couldn't stop laughing at how we were positioned

Todd tried to flip us, Chris fell off and I stayed on (bottom pict)

We parked the boat for a while and were swimming in the water

It was so nice and warm!

Alex wasnt sure what was going on to start with

He missed his mom and was tired

We talked him into jumping into the water and from there on out he was good!

He had fun after that

Kennedy and Alex climbed up onto the tube and he jumped off

Both kids crashed

Kennedy fell asleep helping Todd drive

We layed her down on the floor to sleep

We all went back to Todd and Janas for dinner

Both kids were cuddled up in blankets on the couch as soon as they finished eating

We didnt even make it home before they were both asleep again in the truck

Perfect Sunday afternoon!

Weber County Fair

Saturday night Todd and Jana came over for dinner then the five of us headed to the Weber County Fair

We started off at the petting zoo part

Kennedy loved seeing the animals and getting to pet them all

She insisted on wearing her skirt and belt buckle

She had to wear something so she could wear her belt and tuck in her shirt so you could see it

We wandered around the booths

She got her face painted with fireworks

She saw these balls and was insistent on doing it

I really thought she would freak out and change her mind about going inside of them

Peanut had no fear at all

She was so excited waiting in line

The kids get out of the ball and they deflate

So the crawl inside this big velcro hole

They fill it full of air and roll the kids up the ramp into the pool

They get five minutes to bounce and jump and play

She laughed the entire time

Rolled all around

Jumped up and down

Spun

She had a pretty good crowd watching her too

We were cracking up at her

She was making Jana and I laugh

Chris and Grandpa Todd were keeping a pretty watchful eye on her

I talked Chris into going on the Tilt O Whirl with us

I was laughing so hard it kept tickling my tummy

She was spoiled and spent a lot of time going on the rides

Most of them were all kid rides and she enjoyed every one!

Chris was so funny 

He's so protective of her

He had to put her on each ride and buckle her into make sure she was buckled good

We walked around the booths a little more and headed home for the night

Someone has these two wrapped around her finger I think..

It was a fun double date!
