Monday after work I went home and crashed
Hard
I fell asleep on the couch pretty much as soon as I walked through the door
I was asleep until I got a call from Zack to go shoot
Chris had already left for class
Monday was so so sunny but bitter cold outside!
The snow had melted enough though that we could make it up onto the second bench to go shoot
As we rounded the corner there was a herd of about 10 deer eating
They had some very healthy and very big fawns eating with them
It was good to see they weathered the winter so well
I got a shot of them through the binoculars
The deer are all over the hillside here in the sunshine
We set up to start shooting and it didnt phase them
We had some 9mm pistols and some .22 pistols
The sad thing was realizing how much money we just spent plinking
They were loads we already had.. but the price of ammo is so ridiculously high it was sad to think of how much we used..
And that actually made our shooting time shorter
Had to get out just enough to play but we were a LOT more conservative with our shells than normal
If you can even FIND ammo what you'll pay is sad..
But hey the sunset was pretty
We headed back down the mountain and to Calls for dinner
Its a tradition
