Little Miss Peanut turned 6!
Shes grown up so fast.
My goal this year was to keep her birthday low key and simple.. ya that didnt happen!! Its hard when you have so many people who love her and fun things you want to do! So in the end she got completely spoiled.. and we still have Sunday dinner to go where we really planned on celebrating it with cake and all.
She woke up that morning and told me that she feels taller. She is pretty sure now that shes 6 shes grown a little over night. Daddy Chris was off snowplowing since 0200 that morning so he didnt get to see her. He called her as we were getting ready for school to wish her happy birthday. We went to school where she passed out treats for her class. They sang her happy birthday. She got to have a show and tell and wear a tiara. Its really a cardboard crown but shes adamant its a tiara.
From there I celebrated her birthday by getting a massage. Ok really I had a gift card I needed to use before it expired.. but it sounds good lol! By the time I was done she was out of school. We picked up my mom and headed to a birthday lunch at Melinas where Grandma Jana met us. She opened her present from Grandma and Grandpa. A matching clothes set for her and her doll.
Of course she wore her birthday tiara when we went to eat and told the lady it was her birthday. They sang to her and she thought it was so neat she got to wear a hat and got fried ice cream.
Jana, Kennedy and Mom
From there as a tradition we went to get her a new pair of boots. Each year on her birthday thats what she gets. Its nice to have that planned since her birthday is so close to Christmas and she usually is needing a new pair by then. These are the cute ones she picked out.
We got home and Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Roy stopped by with a birthday present for her and to see her. Then after they left Grandma Zola stopped by with a present and to visit her. By then it was 5:30 and Chris was just getting home from work. Poor boy worked from 2am to 5:30 pm plowing because its was a BLIZZARD all day. He had time to hurry and shower. We had to be in Layton at 6:30 for dinner with JaNeale, Jimmy, Hunter, Ash, Derek and Ry.
She got spoiled again :) Some clothes, neat sand and a Hello Kitty tablet cover.
Grandma brought her balloons. They sang happy birthday to her and she had dessert.
It definitely was a day full of Kennedy!
Happy birthday miss K!
