We spent Memorial Weekend at East Canyon this year. Mom, Dad, Todd and Jana were already up there camping this week. When I got off work Thursday Mom picked me up and Kennedy and I headed up. Chris had to work a side job Thursday night and would be gone working most the night so we decided better to be there instead of at home! We just hung out that night and called it early. That next morning Dad and I went fishing

Not a bad morning right! Well.. for me.. Dad didnt catch anything!
Chris made it to camp. The boys had to fix Mom and Dads awning. A gust of wind hit it and they had to reinstall it pretty much.
Saturday it rained ALL DAY LONG. It was horrible weather. We werent able to do anything outside at all. So instead we went shopping. First we hit Browning Outlet for the weekend sales. Chris spoiled me! I got two hats, a cute new shirt and a hunting shirt. From there we went down to Scheels. Mom and Dad bought me a new bow case for my birthday.
Finally the rain stopped that night and we were able to sit outside and play washers
Kennedy was taking pictures of everyone
She made the Grandmas make a heart with their hands. They were struggling and laughing so hard
Chico was cold so mom covered his ears with his sweater. She couldnt stop laughing at him. He hated it
Kennedy roasted her very first marshmallow on her own. Shes a big girl now :)

That next morning the weather was good. We took the boat out fishing for my Bday. Just me, dad, and Todd went. Everyone else wanted to sleep.
We trolled around the lake for a while. Dad caught one right off the bat.. then caught a few more.. I caught one..
Then Todd caught one on Dads pole
Then Todd caught one on his own pole. He was pretty excited
Not bad for the day. 7 nice fish. Some were pretty huge!
Ash, Derek and Ry came up. Todd and Jana had bought Ry a little bow and Uncle Chris was helping her shoot it.
It was so hot! We hung out in the shade for a while
Phil came up to join the fun too
Mom and Dad went to the archery range and everyone else went fishing
We caught nothing. It was so windy and choppy. We came back for Birthday dinner. This year it was Taco Salad. Hunter and his friend came up also by this point. We sat out a big buffet of food on the tables.
We did cake and ice cream. I was spoiled with presents this year. On top of what I said earlier Todd and Jana are getting me some hunting clothes. JaNeale and Jimmy got me a gift card to Rue21 for some new summer clothes. AND then my hubby got me a sweet card with a surprise inside..
I was wanting Blake Shelton tickets so bad! I told Chris thats all I wanted for my bday.. It was sweet he even put a pict of Blake in the card lol!
after that of course it was time for championship rounds of Washers
Dad kept grabbing Chris's butt while he was trying to throw. We take our washers seriously
Ash Derek and Bug spent the night with us also. Ry thought she wanted to sleep with K but changed her mind
That next morning Dad, Derek and I went out for a minute to see if we could give fishing one last try
The place was freaking packed! There were people and boats everywhere
We had no luck and headed back for breakfast and to pack up camp and head home!
It was such a fun weekend. We ate too much, laughed too much and got too much sun! Cant wait for the next time!
