As usual every year we are so busy during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of July getting ready for our city's celebrations. The nights of the 1st and 2nd Chris and I were out on fireworks patrol enforcing the state and citys restrictions. That is in between fires we kept getting paged on.
The 2nd after we got back from 2 fires we had to cut up the pigs for the upcoming dinner
We cut up the pork, season and wrap it to put it in the pit. The other half we smoke.
after we cut up 4 pigs we cleaned the deep fryers at the station, cleaned the station, organized raffle and auction prizes, got all the rest of the food ready and everything else for our Firefighters Ball.
To top that off we spent every free second we had (about 3 days total) getting this Tender up and running. We had a lot of work to do on it but its done!
