Cabin Drive

Kennedy BEGGED to have a play date with Parker so Chris took me for a drive up to their cabin at Hardware area

We grabbed some BK for dinner and headed out of town

It was kind of nice when we first got there

Sunny and not too bad

Cold though

We made it to their cabin

The roads werent too horrible

Muddy and it started snowing on our way up there

The views were gorgeous

It was so pretty

We went for a hike in the snow

You cant really tell it was snowing but it was

and about 30 degrees!!

After we made it back to the cabin he took me for a drive around the rest of the property

We hit a spot with some good snow and a few downed trees so we couldnt go any further

Again we saw SO many freakin deer!!

Probably 30 at least the whole trip

We only saw one moose

No elk though

I was a little disappointed

We got his truck a little muddy!!!

Some friends he knew were camped down below in one of the spots so we stopped to say hi on the way back out

Movie Night

After our fun at the bay Chris Kennedy and I went to dinner and then he had to go to fire drill

Liz and I started scheming because we were bored and it ended up in a big movie night at my house

Kinlie and Kennedy were all tucked into my bed to watch Matilda

Zack came over too

We had two movies and really didnt watch either one of them

We all were talking and laughing too hard

Willard bay

Wednesday we all went down to Willard Bay for a picnik and to play

I didnt think it was going to be warm enough to play in the water so I only dressed Kennedy in a tank top and shorts

Parker and Kinlie showed up in their swimsuits

When we got there it was nice and overcast and a little windy but warm

I had gone to the dollar store and stocked up on beach toys for Kennedy to play with and share

She HAD to get these sunglasses

They played pretty much NON stop in the water!

Kennedy got a little cold so she cuddled with Grandma

She took off her wet clothes and wanted run around in her undies

First Mantua Trip!!

First official Mantua four wheeling trip this year!

WOO WOO!!

Chris and I headed up one day after work

The weather was actually great!!

We hit some snow

We weren't even able to make it to the first switchbacks below Perry pond before the snow got way too deep

So we turned around and headed down below where there was less snow

and MUD

We saw SO many deer!!

Probably 20 or so

Then we saw two young moose

right across the hill from them were more deer and momma moose

She didnt even care about us going through there

We reached a top of a ridge just at sunset

It was so pretty

The hillsides were covered with deer

Grouse were drumming all around us

Chris stopped and glassed the area for a minute as a heard of deer came around behind us

I LOVE being outside!

SO peaceful

Saritas Play Date

Kennedy gets to hang out with one of my friends on Mondays while I work

They went on a play date to Saritas house!
