Day 32-Full bladders and bellys

To start the day I wake up, pee, shower, get ready for work and pee again before I leave the house

You know as a parent you are always making your kids go to the bathroom before you leave the house

Well it sticks into being a grown up

So I drive to work and when I get there find out Im the lucky winner of random drug testing

Woo Woo

Me and another co worker have to go back and meet with the drug test lady

Do a breathalyzer and then a urine sample

So I chug some water before I go back hoping I will have to pee

She escorts me to the bathroom.. shows me the line I have to fill to a whopping 75 mL and I do the deed

WELL I didnt pee enough...

I cant help it Im prepared lol

So I have to dump my sample and start all over..

The other lady had the same problem

So we have 3 hours to drink up to 40oz and produce enough of a sample.. other wise there is needed a medical reason why you cannot produce enough

I chug two 20oz cups of water

Its 615 in the morning

My body does not like water in the morning it makes me nauseous

AND we are out of ice so its WARM water

I HATE warm water, It makes me want to gag

So here I am sitting in this bright room trying to let my pee produce, chugging nasty warm water and trying not to puke because its so early

Thank goodness for Pinterest on the phone

The drug test lady had been up all night long

Shes exhausted and we are all there sitting looking at each other waiting for bladders to fill

Now if you go in a second time and again dont produce enough urine you have to start all over.. drink more water.. make more pee and hope its enough

and no its not a running total

Gotta empty the cup each time and start all over

Its a weird feeling sitting there knowing that you have to pee.. but hoping you have ENOUGH

I dont think I have ever concentrated that much on making urine ha!

I sat there until I thought I MIGHT be good

Then I started jumping up and down hoping to have enough

My bladder hurts but is there enough???

AND PS us dispatchers have bladders the size of small fire engines

We can fill it up and hold it! 

Finally after an hour and a half since this all started I feel confident I might have enough to give her and decide to try praying I dont have to start over and CHUG more water

Woo Woo Woo 

I guessed right

I made sure to give her twice what she needed..

and then had to pee every 20 minutes for the next hour or so!

That day also I had a KILLER headache ALL DAY LONG

I blame water poisoning

I tried tylenol, diet coke, eating, chocolate

NOTHING would fix it

I also woke up with a sore throat from hell

Its a good day so far right :)

So after my 10 hours at work, peeing all day, headache, sore throat, I come home to make dinner and decide momma needs a little medicine

I am not a big drinker and dont drink too often so it doesnt take much to get to me

I decided on some OJ to give me some additional vitamin C and some good Ol Captain for the throat and headache

It was amazing

It took care of my sore throat

Took care of my headache

I finally felt better

Cooked up some pork chops, mashed potatoes and veggies for dinner

Hunter is up for the weekend so he was staying with us too

He ran over to his dads, Kennedy was watching a movie in her room and Chris and I snuggled on the couch

We were watching the Ringer

Theres a point in the movie where one of the people says 

"When the eff did we get ice cream?"

Chris and I both look at each other and ice cream it is

I run to McDonalds for some $1 hot fudge sundaes and he wants some hot apple pies also..

well they had fresh baked warm chocolate chip cookies too

The drive thru was FULL

I ordered 3 hot fudge sundaes, two apple pies and 3 cookies 

Hey dont judge you read about how my day was earlier!

Kennedy, Chris and I each had a sundae, a cookie and Chris and I each had an apple pie

We finished shoveling our mouths and he said man that was so good I could eat two more pies and more ice cream!

We watched a little bit more of the movie and Hunter calls me

I had to put it on speaker phone because I was going to laugh if I said it out loud..

He says

"Hey Im gonna stop at McDonalds for some ice cream do you guys want anything???"

I told him no thanks and Chris said he wanted an apple pie

...

..

Hunter gets home after like 15 minutes

The lines were packed

He had an apple pie and thats it

McDonalds was out of ice cream lol and all he got was Chris's pie

I started laughing and had to tell him we just had ice cream and pies from there :)
