We showed up to Todds house late Saturday night and said surprise we are going hunting in the morning want to go!? How could he say no to that? We hurried and got everything ready that we could and went home to try and get a little sleep before it was time to get up at 4. We headed out to Public in Corinne. The place was freaking packed! I couldn't believe it. We passed several CAMPING trailers and people in tents and motor homes!? For the duck hunt!? They aren't even in camping spots they are just pulled over on the side of the dirt road. I had never seen anything like that before.
Sunrise hit and the ducks were flying all over. Unfortunately the people were all over too! Everyone was spread out about 60 yards apart. The ducks were high and cruising right through not wanting to come into the decoys.
We shot one duck. By we I mean all four of us hit the same duck. The only duck that flew into our decoys. This was Rues very first trip out hunting. She got so excited every time anyone with in hearing range of us shot. Chris took her out to retrieve the duck.

The girls rocking their pink while the boys pick up the decoys. Kennedy wanted to get out of the boat so bad and help pick them up. She wasnt happy I wouldn't let her since the water would be almost chest deep on her.
We didnt do well but it was still really nice to get out and go duck hunt!
