Week 36- Eggs, power slides, peach days and chickens

Monday Chris was off work for Labor Day. Him and Taylor went up to the Browning Outlet Store for their sale. He found a few things he wanted and brought me home these! I was so shocked. I have been wanting a pair of camo insulated bibs for hunting and on the wheeler. He found some with pink trim :) and a new jacket! He spoils me!
Our chickens have started laying their first eggs! Finally.
We let the dogs out to play and Gypsy wanted to cuddle
Chris let the dogs out to run and got out the little dirt bike. He was circling around in the dirt part of the backyard and the dogs were running with him.
Then he did something that shocked me. He rode on the grass! Not only on the grass.. but on the WET grass. We had just gotten done irrigating so our lawn was soaked. He made tire tracks across it. I was so surprised. Hes so anal about the lawn I couldnt believe it.
Then things got crazy. He made circles on the lawn and then went into a power slide and crashed. This is why we dont have bigger dirtbikes. He cant stay upright.
He decided that was kind of fun so he needed to do it again.

Tuesday Todd and I left to go back up to hunting camp. Chris and Kennedy came up Wednesday night.
Kennedy and Hallie (her pen pal)
Todd and Kennedy came back home on Saturday morning. That night him and Jana took her to Peach Days. She ate an entire Navajo Taco to herself. Rode a few rides. Got her face painted. Asked for the cotton candy Grandpa had promised her for working so hard on cleaning the trailer and then asked to go home. Poor kid was beat. She didnt even want to finish out her ride tickets. She just wanted to go to bed.

She did tell us about this girl she met on one of the rides. She was brown but she spoke English lol....
 Her princess face paint
When we got home from hunting we went over to pick up Kennedy and Todd had made us a pack of breakfast burritos for the week. How stinking sweet! Miss K was so excited.
After we got cleaned up and things put away I went to pick my garden. Its salsa time!

That night was Sunday dinner. We went over a little early so Chris could mow their lawns. They were just finishing up canning salsa, spaghetti sauce and peach juice. We finished up all that and made peach shakes to go with dinner.
RyBug and Kennedy love to go with Grandpa to see his chickens.

Big Bird (our rooster) has been growing like crazy lately! He is HUGE compared to the other chickens.
They got the coop cleaned and all new straw
This one kept wanting to be petted
Chris kept feeding them out of his hand and laughing when they pecked him.
