Easter at Grandma and Grandpa Bartons

This Easter we celebrated down at Grandma and Grandpa Barton's in Bountiful. Grandpa makes the best ham and his pasta salad is a family tradition.. I think if he stopped serving the pasta people would stop showing up!

Easter Morning

Its hard to tell but they say "Happy Easter Kennedy Jess"
Kennedy was so excited for the Easter Bunny she couldn't sleep. She kept asking me "has Easter came yet!?" Well while she was sleeping the Easter Bunny did show up!
And he hid eggs all over the apartment!
Sneaky little bunny
Kennedy woke up and the first words out of her mouth were "Has Easter came YET!!??"
First she saw the eggs hidden and then she turned around and realized there were presents
The hunt was on!
All the eggs she found
EB brought her a Tangled Barbie

Colorin Eggs

This was Kennedy's first year coloring Easter eggs. I was super worried about everything getting stained with the dye so we were really careful and covered up everything.Kennedy was so excited to get started!
She did so good and only spilled one thing of dye... in her lap.. But it came out of her pants so its all good!
Cheesin!
She started to get creative
Kennedy and the finished eggs
Look how good she did!

Throwin some clays

Finally had some warm weather and was able to go out and toss some clay pigeons around.
Kennedy LOVED putting the clays back on the arm. She would not let anyone else do it and was mad she could only put 2 on there and not 3.
and then I'd pull the cord tight and she'd stomp on it to throw em out.

Showing Kennedy how to look down the barrel on the shotgun.
This gun Kennedy is shooting is a Browning. It was my Great Grandpas, my Grandpas and now my Dads. Lots of history with that gun!
woo hoo Kennedy got some!
