Dirty 30 Throw down

My birthday was on Monday which also happened to be Memorial Day. Hailey wanted to throw me a birthday party and we decided the weekend after my birthday would be better so more people would be in town and its not on a Monday night. We had it that Friday night instead. Hailey and JP showed up early to decorate and get everything ready. She brought a helium tank and we filled up our own balloons!
Goofball was a ram

She made this fabulous sign for the front door. I found it hilarious!
and she brought this Peruvian alcohol (she just came back from Peru and hiking Matcu Piccu)
She blended up a drink for us to try
It was very strong and tasted like a wine margarita mixed.
The most awesome part of the whole thing is she had custom coozies made! I was so stinking excited. There were a ton and everyone got some as party favors
I didnt have a can so I fit it onto my cup
 We decorated the backyard
There were hamburgers and hot dogs Chris cooked on the grill. Chips and salsa, cup cakes, a smore bar and an alcohol/drink table.
After we were set up and waiting for people to show Kennedy taught a yoga lesson to Hailey.

 Me and Lysha Lou
We had music going, food on the grill and great company. It was so much fun. I wish I would have taken a lot more pictures and got everyone but I was just too busy enjoying myself!

 Shalon and I
Chris is so stinking cute. He went over to his dads and brought back a bunch of citronella candles and lit them around where we were sitting so there wouldn't be any mosquitoes.
There were PLENTY of kids for Kennedy to play with. She had an absolute blast. She said she wants a party like that for her birthday ha! She had Kinlie, Parker, Alex, and Kendell to run wild with. They were on the trampoline, playing washers, stealing plates full of treats and eating them in her room, they made crafts.. That girl partied hard!

These girls are the best! I love them!!
Shalon, Hailey, Mardee, JP and Shalons daughter Mandy
 Ken photo bombing us!
We actually made it past midnight!! Thats a big deal for Chris and I. We turn into pumpkins by 1030 ha!
Thank you so much to everyone who came and thank you a million to Hailey for putting it all together! Cant wait til next year when we can plan yours!!

Fatties, Moving Zack, Lunch with Miss K and flowers

The fatties are getting huge. They go into a feeding frenzy every time you feed them even if there is food left in the feeder still. Its like being swarmed. This one jumped on top of the feeder to try and hog the food. We think they are about 8 weeks so only 2 more to go!

Kennedy and I had to help Zack move on Wednesday. He sold his sister his house and bought a different house right next to Zeb. So he only moved like 4 blocks. While we were waiting for him to show up at his house from the new house K and I were swinging. She kept telling me she was scared because I was gonna break the swing. Sweet little child...

Just as we finished the last load of the night a huge storm rolled in. We had a tornado warning for western Box Elder county even. The skies turned dark and started POURING rain.
We did get a nice double rainbow though. I was only able to get a picture of one part of it not the second rainbow
This Thursday I actually didnt work overtime. Mom and I ran a bunch of errands and went to lunch at Kneaders. I have eaten their food but never inside. The food was fabulous! We got turkey bacon avocado sandwiches on focaccia with added cranberry. Mom got the burnt almond cheesecake..which was pretty much chocolate and I got the key lime tart. I couldnt breathe afterwards I ate way too much!
We got another thunderstorm on Thursday afternoon too. The skies have been getting so black lately.
Our girls are happy layers lately! Theyve been loving being out in the grass as much as possible
Kennedy has been begging us to come to lunch lately and this is the last Friday of the week we will be able to before school is out. It also happened to be career day so the place was full of other parents eating with their kids. I was actually really surprised at the quality of food! It was so strange going back to the same lunchroom that I ate in from 1st to 5th grade!
We squeezed our long ass legs and adult bodies into the tiny fold up tables that the kids eat at. A lot of the kids were scared to come sit by Chris. Finally some boys decided he wasnt too bad and sat next to him. They talked about the food and their days. It was hilarious. Kennedy was beyond excited that we showed up
Friday I also decided it was time to finally get some flowers for the front beds. I planted a big bag of wildflower seeds in the beds earlier but they didnt grow at all. So I caved and raked it all up and planted new flowers.

Saturday morning I volunteered to set up a study session for a few people who were getting ready to take their EMT practical test. They had less than a stellar class and really weren't taught a lot of the basics they need to do their state practical. We spent 2 1/2 hours going over it. Taylor came about half way through and helped me finish up so we could do more assessments at once. Kennedy was a patient for us.

Tricia (one of the ladies and the same one who was in the extrication class with me) brought me a belated birthday/ thank you present. Hunting cupcakes and beer haha. She is so sweet!
Saturday was SO stinking hot. Kennedy set up the sprinkler at Grandma and Grandpas and spent hours between there and the hot tub.

Erich Church round #2

Monday night was the redo Eric Church concert. The first one was in January and he and the entire band was sick. He did an amazing acoustic concert but offered a free make up show.

Perfect way to spend the bday night with this man at Eric Church!
JaNeale, Jimmy me and Chris. We had the same seats so we sat by the same people.
Kennedy made me like 6 birthday cards and presents during the day. She also made me a bracelet and I wore it to the concert
The show was awesome!!!!

It was a little hot in there so he had to take off his hat

I didnt think it was possible for it to be as good as the last one but it was! He invited all the crew out on stage, all those that did lighting, set up and everything and gave them credit for all their hard work.
It was a Monday night and we got home at 1230 Tuesday morning.. just in time to be up for work at 4:30. It was so worth it!
