210-211 Macee and Sick

Monday my sweet chubby little niece Macee was born! Elysha was 38 weeks with her and her water broke Sunday night. She was scheduled to be induced Monday morning so Macee just got a little jump start on things! She was 8lbs 10oz and 22 inches long! Cant imagine how big she would be if she went to 40 weeks! She is an adorable little chunk with cute cheeks, brown hair and pouty lips! I cant wait to get to see her! She had a hard time when she was born and was on oxygen for a little bit.

Plus so super conveniently Sunday night/Monday I came down with the flu. I was freaking miserable. I made my day through work. I felt bad but wasn't sure if I was just being wussy.. by the time I got home I had a fever, body aches, chills, bad nausea, headache.. I went to bed and didn't resurface until about noon the next day. I told Chris to just put me down.. It was miserable but thankfully just a 24 hr bug! Tuesday morning I actually stayed home from work and still had the sitter come. They had a big day planned and it gave Kennedy something to do besides fend for herself. Plus Kini bean was scheduled to come down too. It ended up working out great. I slept pretty much all day.. slept til noon, showered, fell asleep on the couch again for an hour or two..
The girls had spa day with Talia
They had facials and got their nails painted. They were running around the house like this
Kennedy also made me this card

Thankfully by Tuesday night I was feeling human again. We went out for dinner at Calls and I didnt even eat my fries if that tells you anything!! After that we had an important date we needed to attend so I was glad to be mostly functioning by then.. you see one of the driving forces of Chris wanting to move to Willard is there was something he wanted to do. At first I was going to let him do it by himself and I wasn't going to participate.. but I couldn't resist! I missed it!! I thought I could get past that part in my life.. that I wouldnt want to go back and do it again now that Im a mom. But I still get that stupid adrenaline rush and excitement when he goes and does it so I might as well play too :)

We went down Tuesday night and joined Willard Fire Dept
Woo! ha! I am not sure who is more excited him or I

209- Tractor Lessons

Sunday after work as I was headed home the skies started to turn dark
Look how foreboding this looks!
There was a big wind storm that was coming in
We went for the weekly dinner at Jana and Todds
Kennedy and Ry were playing puppy. Kennedy had the leash part hooked on her shirt and Ry was taking her all over the house. They were just a giggling and squealing. It was so cute
Come here puppy

When we got home it was time to put away some stuff
What started as simply me moving a trailer with the tractor turned into Kennedys first tractor lesson
I had her climb up with me and started teaching her how to steer
We hauled a pool to the front yard for the garbage

Then we took a few loads of gravel from the pile in the backyard to the driveway and smoothed it out
The wind was really blowing then so we had to stop
She thought it was the coolest thing ever
She said we can drive up to Grandma and Grandpa Bartons to go visit!! I told her we had a job to do and we couldnt do that while we were working. She said well when its break time we can then.

208-Jason Aldean

Saturday was date night for us :)
To the Jason Aldean concert
JaNeale had ended up with two extra tickets to the show. She found out that I had never been down on the floor to a concert so her and Jimmy decided they were taking Chris and I. Ha twist our arms!! Make us go!
Todd and Jana TOLD us they were taking Kennedy and were bummed it was only for one night. She was so excited to get a sleep over there. She wore her dress, took her princess crown and wand. We went down a little early to JaNeale and Jimmys for dinner. They cooked Chris's favorite, russian chicken. After that we headed over to Rio Tinto for the show. We were there a little early and found his semis. Of course had to get our pictures taken! JaNeale was a little in love

We got tshirts
They got their beer and I got my cotton candy
Chris laughed at me! I hate beer for starters.. and I LOVE cotton candy. So that was my splurge :)
Our seats were super super awesome!! We were row 12 section A.. so pretty much we were right outside the pit at the end of the walkout stage. I have never been so close before

First out was Thomas Rhett. He was super fun
I had such an amazing date night with this guy! I love him so much! He is just so fun and relaxed and great to hang out with! Kinda part of why I married him

Next out was Jake Owen
These pictures make it look like we were further away than we were. We were actually way close
Jake rocked it!! He was amazing! It was just so relaxed and fun. He kept taking girls phones and doing pictures of him with the girls in the background. He had someone get him a beer. He stopped in the middle of one song and busted out with the theme song to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air and EVERYONE sang the whole song. He was barefoot and jumping around the stage. At one point he had his guy bring out his '85 keytar and play Van Halens Jump.
He also threw a set of drum sticks off the stage. Jimmy caught them. Im not sure who was happier Jimmy or JaNeale! She absolutely LOVES Jake Owen
His show was an A+ Totally a must see!
Next up was Jason Aldean
We had ran into Zeb (Zacks older brother) and his girlfriend Lindsay earlier that night. They were in the pit. Zeb came over and told me we needed to take a picture together and send it to Zack so we did!

Jasons show was awesome also!
So much fun and so much energy
We danced our little butts off!!

I took some videos of the show to take home to Kennedy. She usually gets SO mad when we go to a concert and dont take her. I keep trying to explain to her shes too little to go. The musics too loud and she even standing all night wouldnt be able to see. AND its mommy and daddys dates when we go. She tries hard. She works the guilt trips and tells me she wants a special date night with me to one. I keep telling her maybe when shes seven or eight we will talk about it, so hopefully this pacifies her for a minute!

The night was awesome
Our ears are still ringing
THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking us! We had a blast

207-Normal day at our place

Friday morning I woke up to these three in my bed
I got up when Ry came to the house and she fell back asleep in our room for a while
I guess she woke up and I didnt hear her
Chris got up, played with her a while, changed her diaper and clothes and they all came in to see me
Mom and Dad called on their way to a funeral to see if we were home
They were headed to one right by our house and saw we were home. They figured Kinlie would have a lot more fun at our house than a funeral so they dropped her off. So Chris and I had 3 kids for the day. Good thing hes so easy going!! We had errands we needed to run so we packed up all the girls and headed to Harbor Freight. I had to take a picture it was too cute
Kinlie, Kennedy and Ry fight over Chris's attention
If one hugs on him the other two have too also.
I told him he was going to get sympathy from every man in the tool store being followed by 3 girls
After that we went to Smith and Edwards for a few things.. they didnt have a shirt Chris wanted so we went to Cals. He needed a short sleeve button up because he only has long sleeves. We found a super nice one we both liked at Cals. He really wanted a pink short sleeve one but they are impossible to find. The shirt we picked out didnt have a tag on it so when we went to check out they had to look it up.. it rang up for $6.29.. SCORE!! Its a $40 shirt and was on sale! Woo Woo! We were all starving and Ash was just getting off work. We met her and her friend Carrie at Melinas for lunch. The girls were so excited. Kennedy, Kinlie and Ry love that place. After that Ry went home with Ash. We headed back to the house to work on our projects that we just had to buy stuff for.

I sold my motorcycle.. Kinda sad to see it go but since Ive met Chris I havent ridden it at all. Ive not even registered it in two years.. he really has no interest in riding it with me so we decided it was time for it to go down the road

After talking with his dad and my dad and Chris looking at it we decided the reason the washer kept over flowing is that it probably wasnt hooked into the sewer system. A lot of the older homes had the washer lines ran out into a gravel fill or the septic tank.. So Chris borrowed Zacks tractor and started digging

The girls wanted to hook up the sprinker and play in the grass so bad. It just cracks me up because our little grass patch is so tiny but holds so much attention to them. They changed into some play clothes and started running back and forth giggling. They had to plug their noses

Chris dug a hole in the backyard and found that the washing machine pipe ran along the foundation and pretty much went back under the house and out to no where. So he had to dig out to the sewer hookup and connect the some pipe to the drain pipe from the washing machine and hook it into the sewer pipe stump. Im so glad hes so handy and knows how to do all these things!!
Chris also ran some stuff down the pipes to clean it out. His Dad and Jana stopped by too right as I was cooking dinner. So I made them stay for dinner. We all sat in the living room now that we're down to only 4 chairs at our table instead of 6. We had Kennedy sit at the table and eat in case she spilled. She was super quiet. Zack stopped by to visit and I told him dinners on the stove so he walked in and got a plate full too. I didnt hear Kennedy scream Zackypoo and attack him.. hmm strange? He cant drive past with out her getting excited to see her favorite 'uncle'. So I asked Jana is Kennedy still at the table? Yep she was.. Todd goes into the kitchen a few min later and comes out laughing. Poor child was exhausted and fell asleep sitting up at the table. She has never ever done this before. Not even as a little kid. She even had a little pile of drool ha! I let her sleep for a few more minutes and took her to the couch where she still didnt wake up. That kid slept until 9 the next morning
I cleaned up dinner and found these two in the backyard
Boys cant resist dirt. I started calling the backyard Chris's play pen. He spends all day puttering and doing stuff back there and absolutely loves it.. when people ask where he is I just answer in the play pen

I sat and watched two mountain goats at the top of this peak with the binos while they worked
I just LOVE being able to sit in our backyard at night
Its just such a peaceful homey feeling. The tree keeps it so much more cooler too

206-Randoms

Thursday morning at 6am they started re-shingling our house
They made it til about 10 am and had to stop til the next day because of the heat
I made the very first meal in the new house :)
I was so excited. Some chicken enchiladas with white sauce and cilantro mmm
Kennedy loved them. She kept giving me hugs and telling me thanks for making such yummy food
Kini bean and Kennedy had a play date all day long
They had a blast
