Week 38- carrots, bicycle and wood round 1

Sunday night dinner got a little intense with the Broncos game playing.. in a household that is almost all completely Broncos...
Kennedy got 100 % on her spelling test. So proud of her and her writing is looking better too!
School is still just wiping her out. Two days this week we had nap time after school. She was adamant Wednesday she didn't need a nap and wasn't tired. I had to wake her up at 6:30 for dinner....
We harvested all our carrots. We had so many!
Apparently we dont just grow homewrecking cucumbers.. we grow homewrecker carrots too!
We got half a five gallon bucket full!
Kennedy's been practicing riding her bike so much lately. Shes no longer afraid of it and all she wants to do is ride it.
We went for a family walk the other night just so she could ride her bike in the street.
I heard this quote on Red Band Society the other night.. I fell in love with it!
On Thursday after work I went and chopped off my hair. Almost 7 inches gone! It feel so short but I like it. It wont take 6 months and it will have grown back!
Miss K feel asleep on the ride home from my hair girls.. there marks nap #3 this week after school
Also Thursday night Todd and Janas house flooded. She was out of town for Girls Week and so it was just Todd. He called Chris in a panic five min after he left our house from having dinner. We go over there and the kitchen is full and so is the basement. All we could do was laugh and start cleaning up water. Taylor brought over an extra shop vac and him and Chris went and got this huge fan.

This week we also pet sat Chico. Mom and Dad were in Park City for CISM training.
He just wanted to snuggle the whole time.
Saturday Todd, Chris, Taylor, Kennedy, Chico and I went to cut some wood. We filled about 3 cords of our 8 cord permit. Kennedy's job was to watch Chico...and snack....
Taylor and Chris limbing a tree

There was one right on the side of the road we had to fall. They hurried and dropped it and had it cleaned up in seconds.

These three boys jobs were to cut down the trees and take off the limbs and help me carry them to the trailers. My job was to stack it on the trailer.
Miss K and I
She also took a bunch of pictures

Her face covered in chocolate!
She had to have a picture of her climbing the rock like a professional rock climber...

Not bad for a half a days work. We were tired when we got home.

But tired means nothing to my husband. After we got home it was time to unload it all off the trailer and cut it up so it can be split.
Kennedy was trying to ride her wheeler up the dirt hill.
Todd gave up sawing and let Taylor do it. Taylor has been practicing and learning while he was with us so Todd decided it was time for him to graduate to the next step.
