Hardware Snowmobiling Trip

Saturday Chris, Kennedy and I went snowmobiling up at Hardware. We have not seen each other at all this week. Our schedules have been so full. We planned this weekend to have some family time. We parked at the main parking lot. It was so full of sleds! We pretty much got the last parking spot.
We headed up to the cabin to check on the snow load.
There was quite a bit of snow!

When we first pulled in I thought the outhouse had collapsed. We could barely see the roof. The outhouse is 8ft tall. Then I realized how deep the snow was! Thankfully there was about 2 ft of soft snow and then solid snow underneath. Chris worked on shoveling off the top of it.

We played around at the cabin a lot. The snow was so awesome there.
My sled was running funny. The spark plug cap kept coming off. Chris took it for a few runs and it kept coming off.
So we broke out the first aid kit for some tape. We doctored up the sled and replaced the spark plugs too. She ran like a champ after that!

We went around the block and played in the open by Phone Hill. There was some deep powder. Chris and K were cutting circles. They were having a blast... then Chris fell off and K stayed on. She thought it was hilarious. Then a few minutes later they both tipped over. She was laughing so hard.

 and they played some more

We stopped and had some lunch

We hit some powder flats and played. Chris had been good and had Kennedy on his sled the whole time. I took him over to some hill climbs so he could play.

The hill is a lot higher than it looks and a lot steeper. He made the top 3 high marks so he felt better. You can see him as the tiny spec of black on the top of the hill.

We played around on a bunch of hills and worked our way back to the truck.
Im the tiny spec at the top of the hill

It was such a great day!!! We had so much fun and it was nice spending time together. The weather was perfectly sunny.

Ladies Night at Edge

Jana and I went to Ladies night at Edge. This was her first time there and we had a blast!

It was a fun indoor shoot setup
The ladies were so nice too! They had over 24 shooters!
Jana shooting out of the blind

After the normal 10 stations they had a special one set up. It was $1 a shot and each arrow depending on how it scored earned you so many raffle tickets.
You had to stand up at the top of the stairs and shoot down to it.

Jana killed it!! She did great.

Hunters Nation and a Mountain Ops rep were there with free stuff for our raffle. They had all kinds of cool stuff for us! This is about half of the ladies.

This is what I won. They put in a lot of hard work to make these nightly shoots go off and they are so  much fun!
