Roof Rescue

Last night for drill we had a roof rescue scenario. We pretended the roof was on fire and we had to access it from the small spiral staircase. The roof is covered in solar panels (which pose a hazard to us) and we had an unconscious victim on the roof we had to hoist down. We each took turns being the ropes team, the rescue team and the fire attack team. I wasnt able to get pictures until the last evolution but heres an idea.
Hoisting the dummy back up on the roof for the next crew
Setting up the stokes basket

Crew ready to charge the line and head up the stairs

 Putting out the fire
Bringing the basket up to load the patient in
 unhooking it

 Taking him back down

Putting him on the backboard to take over to the medical area
