Pleasant View Founders Day Parade

Kris was entered in the Pleasant View Founders Day parade and asked if Kennedy and I wanted to come with her!

Spot

A long time ago my friend Hailey got a fish

A fish she called Spot.

A fish Kennedy renamed to Goldie.

Hailey decided she needed to go on vacation to Arizona with her family.

She asked Kennedy and I to fish sit.

I warned her thoroughly...YOUR FISH WILL DIE.

I have bad luck with goldfish.. plus I have a 3 year old.

She reassured me over and over it would be ok if Spot/Goldie died..

I warned her again

YOUR FISH WILL DIE

Hailey brought over Spot/Goldie on the Friday she left.

Goldie lasted exactly 2 hour at our house before Kennedy fed him bread.

Goldie lasted exactly 24 hours and 3 minutes before Kennedy came into the bedroom carrying Goldie.. saying "look mom! Goldies dead!"

With lifeless Goldie/Spot in her hands as she thrusts him into my face

It was really a tragic incident.

She said the monsters were coming after Goldie and she had to save him from them..

But no worries she reassured me "hes dead but his mouth still goes like this" (making fish face motions)

yes.

She made his dead body make fish faces still.. No wonder he didn't float. He sunk.

We went to Walmart and bough Spot/Goldie II.

He has survived much longer!

Good thing Hailey's back in town!

Welcome Home Mom!

My Mom is home from Alabama!

We had a big ol family BBQ to celebrate

My dad makes the best smoked ribs ever.

Yes I said it.

I am a connoisseur of ribs and I have not found ANYWHERE that make ribs as tender and juicy and perfectly flavored as his.

Dixon Resort

This afternoon was spent at the Dixon resort.

It was fabulous.

There was a pool

Speed boats

Lots of lounging around

A little bit of shooting

Some more lounging

Getting some sun on our white legs!

A little round of golf or two..

Chicken salad sandwiches and brownies

Drinks poolside

Lots of smiles

A princess castle.

Kennedy and Parker argued over who got to be the princess.

Parker gave in and decided to be the Daddy Princess

A few rounds of pool

And even front row tickets to a wrestling show!

The Dixon Resort is the best!

Night Drive

Kennedy, Kinlie, Liz and I needed to run to Walmart.

I told Kinlie to get ready and meet us outside.

She had to change out of her clothes and into her 'cowgirl clothes' because Aunty Jessy was there.

I was waiting for her outside when she came out like this..

...

Well Duh she needed to take her gun to Walmart!

We drove down to the South marina of Willard Bay at sunset

And then headed over to the south end of the bay

Snakes ew!!!

I love the stories these pictures tell.. it just makes me laugh!!

We were on our way back down the trail from shooting and EW! There was a big ol snake on the trail.

Well Zacks gonna go shoot it.

Aim...

MISS!

Damn thats loud with out ear protection!!

And the snake slithers off..

Well we pull in the driveway and the first thing out of Liz's mouth..

I killed a snake!

Right before we started shooting on the mountain Liz had to go back to the house because Kinlies step mom was dropping her off so she didnt get to play..

..

But she had this to show off she'd killed

And then that night when she was going for a 4 wheeler ride she killed a squirrel with a rock.

You NEVER know whats gonna happen when you hang out with us!!
