BBQ at the Fowler/Yates

Nics mom had a small family BBQ tonight for Nic since he's leaving for Georgia tomorrow

I was able to head over for a few min before work and hang out

Kinlie and Hayden (Nics bro) were playing puppies on the trampoline

Elysha Lou and Parker came over

They live 1 house away from Heidi and Brandon and Parker and Hayden are bffffffs

Kennedy was with her dad

Liz Me and Elysha

I told Nic I wanted a pict with him since I might not see him before he leaves tomorrow

We were standing there for this and after Elysha took it my butt was slapped.

 Not exactly like him but I didnt think much of it.

I mean really whatever we're family haha

Well then we all stand together for this picture and Liz makes a noise.. then Nic does.. then I feel my butt be slapped again!

I turn around and its Hayden!!!

He was running behind us slapping our butts when the pictures were being taken!

The drink cozy Nic bought Liz.

The twins were sad it was time for me to leave and sad I wasnt drinking wtih them

Its good I left it all up to them to take care of!

Wednesday

Today my dad went fishing and caught these two nice wiper!

Catfish and wiper happen to be my two favorite types of fish

I love how the meat is sweeter and less fishy tasting

Dad made dinner and invited us up

Fried wiper

Green Chicken

(fried chicken on rice with chile verde sauce)

It was fabulous!

It was time to get caught up on Sons of Anarchy

I was watching Jax with his nice new haircut and Kennedy wanted me to come see what she drew

Kennedy HATES drawing or coloring

For some reason it makes her mad

But she did this all by herself!!

I was so proud!!

Check Up

Today was this little princesses check up.

She's 29 lbs!

Woo Woo finally getting some weight on her!

She's 39.9 inches in height

Dr Stokes could still hear her ASD pretty prominent in her heart and we still have to follow up with the cardiologist this year..

We were suppose to anyways by 4 years but they were hoping it would have been closer to closed by now

She has this irritating habit she started aprox 4 months ago.

She pops her hip and knee in and out of place.

My mom, my aunt Kathy and both my sisters can pop their hips.

I didnt think too much of it but thought I would as just to make sure.

Well that ended up with us going right from her check up, after her 2 immunization shots of course, to go get 3 x rays.

While we were in there the tech took the first picture and said "oh wow! I can see why they wanted to x ray it."

Those are such comforting words!

She took 2 more and then showed me the x rays.

I couldnt see anything really but it let me know what to expect

Dr Stokes called us tonight and said Kennedys left femur is lower in the socket than the right.

She is sending us to an Orthopedic Specialist at Primary Childrens Medical Center ASAP she said..

ugh

I swear this child cant give me a normal check up EVER!

We will make our appointment tomorrow and go from there.

It could be anything from just watch it, to a splint, to surgery

I guess at least its not something that bothers her and can run around and play like crazy

But its enough to stress out her mom!

Kennedy did so good though through out her appointment she earned McDonalds on the way home!

Hopscotch and a water fight

Kennedy and Kinlie have been into playing hopscotch lately

Part of it I think is because they are girls..

the other part I blame on that dang monkey Curious George!

Kennedy has a Curious George movie she loves where the play hopscotch

Kinlie and Kennedy made this course

They also had their fare share of Phis Food ice cream..

Kennedy is running around like a beautiful ballerina and Kinlie is playing

Then out came the water and puddle splashing

Kennedy chased Liz down with a bucket half full of water

Liz stole the bucket and got even

High N Tight

Nic leaves for Fort Benning in Georgia on Friday

He asked Liz to give him a high n tight haircut

Liz doesnt cut hair.

She doesnt do hair but her own!

So... she started

She needed some help blending.. so I helped her

But then there was a nic or two put into the cut..

and one side was uneven..

so I tried to even it out again..

and well we just shaved it off!

After we shaved it off Nic said we could bic it if we wanted too

He's such a good sport!

So Liz gave him a high n tight with shaving cream

Ok maybe she had some help..

Um..

Yeah..

So then went the first razor swipe...

It FREAKED ME OUT!

UGH!

Feeling the hairs pull in the razor.

I was sure I was scalping him.

I couldnt try and cut it with out squealing and jumping

Liz obviously felt the same way

Nic is a good sport and survived!

Thankfully hes a man and can just go bald!!

Fire Ride- Ogden City

The posts are backwards and broken down.

There were just too many pictures to try and do in one post!

The ride ended in Ogden City at the Amphitheater and the Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial ground

25th street was shut down and full of bikes

 

They had a small ceremony and unveiling of the new monument

Next we walked to the Amphitheater where they did a remembrance ceremony

They read off the names of the fallen firefighters of 2010

The ceremony just started when the rain started pouring down

The rain just kept on coming so we headed for home.

This was the neatest Fire Ride so far..

Also the biggest!

It was such an exceptional showing of people coming together to support the United States of America
