Week 7- Dentist, 3d targets and a little VD

This is my favorite place ...and the dogs favorite place when Im over at Todd and Janas. Radar has to sit on my lap and cuddle. I pick the couch closest to the fire place so it works out well.
Chris and Todd took out the stove that was in there before and put it in the garage and took this one downstairs. Chris got it all hooked up and running.
I finally decided on a sticker for my car. Its a lot of hard work deciding what to go with.. what theme.. what color.. what do I want to show!? Im happy with this one
I had to cave and try the new Marshmallow Crispy cookies everyone had been talking about. They werent bad.. and of course I needed to try a second package since they were on sale. I mean you cant just buy one!
Lately Brigham Bowmen has been shooting a ton of Robin Hoods! We had 2 other members get one and then on our Monday night shooting Jana got another one! Way to go everyone!

I shot my score round and then decided for fun to flip over my target and try to shoot a 5 spot instead of just a single. Not too bad. It totally throws off everything though! Its such a harder sight picture and you have to move your shot each time when you pull up your bow instead of holding it at the same spot each time. With a single target you have the whole colored area to hit and each one is worth points from 5-1. With a 5 spot you hit outside the blue rings and its a zero. They go from 5-4
Kennedy had her first dentist appointment for her cavity fillings. They decided to just do short 30 minute appointments to see how many they could get filled each time. They werent sure she would do well and said we might have to go to a pediatric dentist if she didnt. She was very nervous about the gas. She has had 2 surgeries and each time they used the gas to put her to sleep so she had a really hard time understanding it just made you feel funny but you stayed awake. We made silly faces to help her relax.
They set her up with headphones and an Ipod with Disney music on it. She liked that part.
The dentist was really good about explaining everything to her. He let her hold the tools as he turned them on so she could see what they did and that the noises werent scary. She kept putting her Ipod up above her and in the dentists face pretty much and we couldnt figure out why she wouldtn keep her arms down. Finally I realized that the screen was a mirror and she was trying to see what he was doing. Silly kid!

They were able to get 2 filled and we go back in 2 weeks. They had to do a mini root canal on the one tooth. She did amazing though! They were impressed at how well she handled it. Afterwards we were leaving and Chris was working in Brigham. We stopped to say hi. He was worried about her dentist appointment and wanted to see her and how she did. We were cracking up laughing at her because half of her mouth was still numb so it looked like she had a stroke. We kept telling her to smile and I wish I would have gotten a picture of it!
Her mouth regained feeling. The swelling went down and soon it was time for archery that night. Mom and I decided to set up 3d animals for the kids to shoot. Make it something different and fun. THEY LOVED IT! Kennedy did absolutely amazing! I was so impressed. She didnt quite have enough weigh in her draw to make the arrows stick in the targets (the foam on the 3d is a lot more dense than the bales the targets sit on) so a lot of her arrows bounced off the animals. The ones that stuck were good shots though! This is her first stick in a 3D target. I was so proud. She truly is loving archery.. so I ordered her some new arrows that are lighter for her bow and shes going to shoot in a 3D shoot with us this weekend. She is beyond excited.

Valentines morning Kennedy made me this card and put it in the bathroom while I was in the shower :)
I had made for Chris a hat and a beanie and bought him some heart chocolate.
Kennedy got a coloring book, some chocolate and princess gummies. I ordered her a bow and arrow necklace but for some reason its taking FOREVER to ship. It was ordered over 3 weeks ago and was supposed to be here by the 7th. So she knows she has another present coming but doesnt know what it is.
Chris bought me my very first flowers from him. Im not a flowers girl.. but every girl loves flowers!! Especially when its the first flowers your hubbys gotten you :)
Then we went out to breakfast at Moores with Taylor
Kennedy was so excited for Valentines at school. We had bought her little treats with name tag stickers for her to pass out. They made candy bags at school instead of boxes. It actually was a good idea!
The ladybug she made at school too
Kennedy was so excited about her box of chocolates. She thought it was the coolest thing they had different colors and flavors on the inside.
Chris had been gone helping a friend most the day. I took a nap. When he came home we were outside and he was working on the dog kennel. We got the outside all done and its ready for the chain link. That night we went out to dinner. We have never eaten together inside Maddox. We usually just get their take out. But hey its Valentines day. We didnt have reservations because we really werent sure where we were going to go before hand, so we got there at 5 and only had about a 45 minute wait. Not bad at all! By the time we were leaving the wait was WAY longer and the place was PACKED.
That night when we got home Zack and Taylor came over with pizza, beer and a movie. We were way too stuffed to even think about eating! But we enjoyed the company and watched a movie.

I had told Chris a few weeks ago that instead of a fancy dinner for Valentines day I would rather go out west and spend the day with him.. Well he forgot lol! So I got dinner too :) We headed out early Saturday morning. I had taken that day off work. We stopped for some donuts and chips and were set. We went out through Promontory to Locomotive Springs area. We got there just as it was getting daylight.
There was SO MUCH water! It was crazy. Everything was so wet and muddy! We saw a few rabbits.

Drove around some. Went all over! From Promontory to Locomotive Springs. Past Park Valley to some road that was called Big Pass we had never been on. Back to Kelton and out to Sr30.  We had a great adventure. It was about 300 miles round trip.

It was also very very muddy!! We didnt leave the road once and our truck was this filthy!! The roads got so much mud all over it. This was looking out my windshield on the passenger side
and trying to look out my side window!
When we got home the poor truck was totally another color! I cooked us up some lunch and Chris went to power washing it. We had such a nice, much needed time just being together. Our schedules and lives are so hectic we really dont spend that much time with each other. We see each other but dont really get to just sit and be.. to talk with out interruptions or things going on. It was a very nice trip.
That night Miss Moo came over for a little bit. I figure the only way people have more than one kid is the older one keeps the little one busy while you try to do things! Kennedy entertained her while I cooked dinner.
Chris had to leave at 430ish to go help some friends. They were out of town and had a cow that was calving but the calf was stuck. The calf had died while the cow was trying to have it and was still stuck so he had to go pull the calf. They had to tie up the mom who I guess was just a mean cow and get the calf out. It took them a while. He came home filthy and needed to shower. We were just getting ready to go over to Todd and Janas when he got home so we waited and then headed over. Macee needed some time with the other Grandma and Grandpa. She loved laying on the floor and playing. Grandma Jana has the magic touch!
