The next part of the ride was headed from Sandy to Ogden
The beginning is lead by several fire trucks.
We also had several officers who did an awesome job of blocking off intersections for us.
We had MILES of State Street shut down and cars stopped and lined up forever because they couldn't turn.
Some of these picts arent the best because I was driving.. but it gives you just a SMALL idea of the support and respect that was shown
The amount of people who came outside was unreal.
There were Boy Scouts lined up in certain parts waving flags at us.
People were piling out of Ihops and Village Inns like crazy.
There were people who ran out of their homes carrying flags to wave at us.
Hundreds of people videoed us.
Kids stopped in the traffic were hanging out windows waving to us
Adults stopped and placed their hands over their hearts as the miles of riders passed.
It was an incredible sight to see.
Very much a great show of American Pride that makes your heart swell and your eyes tear up.
This was a tribute to a horrible day in history.. but one that brought Americans closer together.
The showing of support was another example of how Americans will stand together..
regardless of types of people.
I wish I would have been able to get a lot of pictures of all the people who stopped to pay tribute..
but I was able to get a few
As far as you can see down the road bikes were side by side..
This group of riders stopped to show support.
All of the Fire Depts also had trucks at different locations along the ride to pay tribute.
Some had flags raised over the street.
Some just waved and held flags
Others had their families there also
Headed up past the State Capitol Building
