Hike in Willard

Wednesday Kennedy gets out of school earlier. We decided to go for a hike. They have new trails in Willard this elderly guy dug by hand. I wasn't sure how they were going to be considering where they were at. I mean really how cool can they be??? I was so wrong! They were awesome! I loved it! We parked at the waterfall and started on the side trail there.

Tank came along too
The trails were really cool! They were well cut out and the scenery was amazing.

The incline really wasnt steep at all. Kennedy had no problem keeping up.

She had to bring her hiking pack. It had water, some treats, her pink duck call, some my little ponies, chapstick and her sunglasses.
We needed to stop and hydrate
Tank needed some water too

She kept saying this is so neat! I havent been here in ages!
She wanted to get where it was high and she could see Grandma and Grandpas house. Good thing the trail headed that way. She was able to pick out Grandma Chris and Grandpa Coreys house with out any problem

We ended at the river. Hopefully next time I can talk her into hiking up the canyon where it comes down. I asked if she wanted to this time.. she said "I dont really care.. which means no" She just wanted to play in the water the whole time. She asked if she could stay for 12 hours.

But it was time to head back down the trail and go for the truck
We took a different section of the trail on the way down.

We had kicked up 2 deer on the way up there. We saw one doe for sure and couldnt tell what the other one was. On the way back down we ran into 4 deer. Look hard and see if you can find them in the pict.
You can see 3 of them staring at us
Here does this help??

We had a really nice little walk. Definitely one we will do again!
