Week 24- Chickens, Shooter, 4 wheelers and Wood shed

Kinlie came by to play for a while the other night. Of course they had to get the chickens out! Kennedy LOVES LOVES LOVES her chickens!
Taylor and Chris had cleaned Kennedys carb and jet on her bike and got it put back together but couldn't get it to idle at all. They spent a while working on it and couldnt get it to work right.

Kini and Kennedy played forever on the swing.
Kennedy wanted to be the horse
Liz came to pick up Kinlie and she couldnt resist it either! All the kids that come to our house go straight to the swing and give us the eyes like can we!?
Kennedys been wearing this plastic headband being an Indian. She was running and Indian restaurant serving dried buffalo and Indian apples
Well.. long story short..we got another dog. We actually are on a waiting list for a female Brittany pup that Chris is going to pick up Sunday. We are going in halfs with my dad. BUT in the meantime Chris found this dog that really really needed a good home..he is papered and pure bred. Hes 4 months old and we ended up with him. We named him Shooter. The guy was selling him for $400 but gave him to us for free because he really wanted him to go to a good place and liked our setup
We werent sure what to think at first because it was such a good deal. We were afraid it was one of those too good to be true things. Shooter is a great dog! He sits, stays, retrieves, points. Him and Rue have a blast. Brittany pups are HIGH ENERGY for the first few years and he wears Rue out even though hes a month older than her.

My garden is growing so good! I am so happy!
One of the best things about summer is we go everywhere on the wheeler and so does everyone else! This was our driveway the other day
Chris needed to run this planter up to my moms.. so we took the wheeler
Kennedy rode with Uncle Taylor
We cruised around town and stopped to see Zeb and Zack putting in sprinkler boxes at Zebs house. We stopped to help them for a little bit
Todd and Jana bought me new arrows for this big elk hunt :) I cant wait to get them cut and start practicing!
The boys got Kennedys bike running good and Chris has been riding it all over
Kennedy was eating breakfast and came in with her new friend. She put fruit loops in a banana and used the peel for a mouth.. She was talking to me in a deep voice. I couldnt stop laughing
We started putting up the tin on our wood shed.

We got the roof and one side done. Just have one side and the back to go
View from the top
We have a little wire pen around the chicken coop so they can get out and get some sunshine. This was the first we've opened up the door to let them out the side. Kennedy was worried they wouldnt know how to get out so she carried them out to show them.
She was making Big Bird smile for the picture. He looks so thrilled doesnt he
She has named several of them so far and can keep them straight. We have Big Bird, Blackberry, Emily, Chocolate, and Snowbell. Shes working on names for the rest.
Dad has been in the news a ton lately doing interviews and press releases on the big hay processing fire in Tremonton. Liz and Mom went out and snapped some picts of him. I stole this collage from Liz
