5 spot, FD dinner and Grandpas Surgery

Monday after shooting all weekend and our 9 hour drive home we apparently hadnt had enough archery and went to shoot our score for NFAA.
Ha honestly it was the only night we had to shoot score because of Chris's schedule. I had never shot a 5 spot before. We didnt shoot NFAA last year because Chris was hurt and the years before I only shot a single spot. I was a little nervous not having even practiced but went and tried it. I didnt do too bad and shot a 287.
Wednesday night we had our annual fire dept dinner at Maddox. We have yearly tradition of white elephant gifts. Each year someone brings a set of onesie pajamas and our chief always gets them. He tries them on every year. This year was Superman. He has a collection of them and I think hes up to 5 pairs.

My fabulous prize this year was this beautiful picture. You always have to remember BSI Scene Safe ha!
Friday night Chris and I were going to the Ogden Ducks Unlimited Chapter Banquet. Kennedy stayed with Todd and Jana. Todd had surgery on Thursday and when we told K she was going with them she asked if she could pack an EMT bag to take care of Grandpa. She packed some toys, some things to take care of him with, a stethoscope and blood pressure cuff. When we first got there she listened to his lungs, his heart and checked his pulse (and yes she did it correctly)
I guess after we left she checked his blood pressure and listened to his lungs several times. She was waiting on him hand and foot. If he sneezed she was right there to check on him. K was very concerned with how Grandpa was and continued to take care of him all weekend.
