Suckers with Great Grandma Barton

When we were younger we would always go down to Grandma Bartons and make suckers. That was one of my favorite things I looked forward to. As we got older the tradition stopped. We havent made suckers in years. This year she came up to teach the great grand-kids the tradition. Koree and Macee were upstairs howling like wolves.
These two are such hams. They look so much alike its hard to tell them apart if you dont see them together.
Grandma showed the older 3 grandkids how to assemble the molds
They started with rootbeer and coconut suckers

Kennedy made me a turkey rootbeer sucker

Mom made us a wonderful lunch of strawberry spinich salad and dino chicken nuggets

 Next was bubble gum

after that the kids were distracted. Liz and I finished the butter rum and grape suckers

It was so fun to get together and have our kids make the same memories we had!
Thanks so much Grandma and Grandpa for coming up and doing this!
