Week 20- Mothers day, Mantua walk, Archery set up and Zacks Bday

For Mothers Day JaNeale got me this cute door hanger
Jana got me these sweet Calla Lillies
and Chris and Kennedy got me a new fishing pole. I was sufficiently spoiled!

Chris has been working with Rue on retrieving. She has picked it up pretty fast!

Hailey, Kennedy and I went for a walk around Mantua Reservoir. Its 4.2 miles but all flat and nice trail so it makes it a little better
We took the pups with us too. Haileys dog Raleigh didnt like that I was sitting in her spot so she found somewhere else to sit.

The weather was perfect. Warm and sunny but not hot.

We found a place for the pups to get a drink and swim for a minute

Kennedy was sure this was an alligator. She was trying to get out to it to see for sure. She was disappointed when she learned it was only a rock

About a 1/3 of the way around there is a dock. We stopped there for snacks and drinks.

We were pretty exhausted after we made it around the lake and stopped for a few potty breaks (they have several spots with bathrooms around the trail) We made it back to the boat launch area and let the dogs get one more go round in the water. Rue was retrieving sticks and having to swim out to get them. This was her first time really swimming in water and she loved it.

She was exhausted. She snored the whole way home.
I received some amazing news this week! I drew out on my Limited Entry South Cache Archery tag woo woo!! There are some BIG bulls in there. I also drew my deer tag in the same area at the same time! This is a big deal. Its normally a spike only area and they only gave out 35 archery elk tags. Its time to get this target to use! I gotta start practicing now.

This week we set up for the Primary Childrens Benefit Shoot
We had such a great turn out to help set up. It was nice!!
Mom took all these picts and I stole them

After the setup they cooked burgers and hotdogs for everyone that helped. Smiths grocery is a huge supporter and takes care of us during this shoot.
Miss Rybug was showing us her tricks. She is so attached to Kennedy its adorable. She has to know where Kennedy is every second and if she cant find her she yells for her. Kennedy was down playing with some of the other kids and Ry wouldnt stop yelling  "Kenndyyyy Kennndyyy! 'Mere!! Kennnndyyyy 'mere now!"

They even had this sign made!
Saturday was the brothers bday. The big 3-0. He had a bonfire to celebrate
Kennedy couldnt wait to play on the swings

Her and Uncle Taylor had a campfire dance
First bonfire of the year! So happy
We had a small group to start with. I had to hurry and take picts before it got too dark!

but before the night was over we had it full around the fire. Kennedy and I left at 1030 since I had to be to work at 4am the next morning.

In other news Miss K lost another tooth this week (its in her hand if you cant tell) I believe this makes tooth #5
Oh and dont you love her outfit.. someone was supposed to be cleaning her room but decided to get into fingernail polish... she painted INSIDE her ear (she had fun telling everyone at school it was blood), around her eyes, her eye lids, her TEETH AND GUMS!!?  Her arms, legs and stomach. She thought her teeth and gums needed prettied up. Seriously. She said it burned so she had to stop. Sometimes Im not sure what to do with her!
