Girls Weekend-West Yellowstone

This was the first girls weekend I was able to attend. Jana and her mom and sisters go every single year. This years was to West Yellowstone. We left Wednesday morning and headed up. We had a suite and it wasnt bad at all!

The first day we pretty much just hung out in the hotel room and got dinner. The next morning we went to the park.

We went to the Lodge at Old Faithful and had lunch. I found Kennedy a cute stuffed wolf in the gift shop. Thats all she wanted from Yellowstone was a wolf. From there we headed back to the room. Whats a Yellowstone trip with out the obligatory buffalo road block and picture.

 Some elk

We hung out in the room and played cards until wee early hours of the morning.

The next day we went out to go shopping. As we were walking along the street this lady stopped and asked us if we would help cheer for the Homecoming parade. Parade!? We love parades! We said yes and stood on the corner with her. She ended up being the Judge of the town.
Homecoming is celebrated by the whole High School. All 50 of them. With 12 seniors. We saw about 4 people out cheering because the rest of the town was in the 3 block parade.

They told us that during the football games at half time the players instead of leaving the field they go over and pick up instruments and double as the band.

We hit a few stores and went over to a Mexican place for dinner.. This is what happens when you vacation with Grandma..

The next morning we packed up and headed home! It was a nice little relaxing getaway!
