Chris and I had a 5 year plan. When his truck was paid off we would look at getting a bigger toy hauler camper. Something with a little more room and something we can put the side by side in. Well our finances changed a little bit and we paid off his truck sooner than we expected to. We got to talking and halfway looking for a camper. We weren't very hopeful in finding what we needed/wanted and in our price range. One of our big needs was a 14ft toy box so the side by side fit. We didn't really want to go triple axle.. Another need was for him to be able to stand up in the bedroom and at least 1 side out. Not a huge demand but we hadn't been finding anything that met what we needed and fit our budget. Most toy haulers have a 10 or 12 ft toy box and if its any bigger its an 'open floor plan' which means your tables and stuff fold up and you drive into your living room.
After a few months of looking one happened to pop up. We scheduled to go look at it that day and by the end of that next morning we owned it. The trailer is in GREAT shape. It has a fuel tank, on board generator, solar panels.. it ended up being a triple slide triple axle but honestly we got such a good deal on it we were so happy. We can deal with it being extra big ha! The people who originally ordered it from the dealers ordered it with NO stickers at all. Its all white. We bought it while K was gone and she had no idea til she got home. We told her we needed to sell our trailer because we couldn't fit the side by side in it..and her reply "great lets go buy a toy hauler!!!"
That top bunk is Kennedys. She loves it and cant wait to fill the cabinets with all her toys ha!
Our master bedroom with a King size bed and closet.. We dont know what to do with drawers AND a closet! Our old camper didnt have any storage. This one has SO MUCH.
We love it and cant wait to take it camping.. although it may have to wait til next spring.
