2015 Be a girl shoot

Saturday morning was finally here for the Be a Girl Shoot. Kennedy was so excited she looks forward to this so much every year and she was feeling better woo woo!

We got all dressed in our matching leopard print dresses. We wanted to do an animal print theme this year and headed to the shoot.
Dad, Kenned and me.
Mom wanted to be a little different this year too and wore one of dads extra wigs.
The first line was at 9 am.
This is our 4th annual year of the shoot. Its so fun to see how far its came. When we first did it so many people were timid about dressing up and now everyone loves it.

Cute Katlyn. Her mom had text me that morning to make sure I got picts of Mike and I wasnt sure what to expect when I saw him. It was fabulous!

We had so many amazing sponsors this year! We had great donations for the raffles! Hoyt donated a $1700 bow, we had gift baskets, arrows, some businesses helped make our trophy's, we had all kinds of support and so many other business and people said they want to donate next year!

Phil and Martha... we were calling Todd Martha after Martha Washington.

Mike was having some wardrobe malfunctions. He didnt realize it but every time he went to shoot his dress didnt stay in place. I took a picture and showed him... once I stopped laughing so hard. Its so hard to be a girl :)
The office 'girls'
Wayne just loves dressing up as a girl and all the attention he gets

Sonny Boys Philly Cheesesteaks is a pretty famous food truck in Tremonton. They were awesome enough to come up to the shoot and set up for our shoot! Their food was really good.
The 9 o clock line
Mike won best dressed. Sonny from Sonny Boys was our judge. He picked the best dressed each line and a runner up. The runners up got a free combo from his food truck!
Every year our awesome county commissioner Stan Summers stops by to show his support. He always comes to as many of our shoots as he can to buy raffle tickets and see dad. He really supports the community!
Also every year the Susan G Komen foundation sends up 2 representatives for the day to come hang out with us. They love hanging out and we take good care of them. We hooked them up with free t shirts and gave them shooting lessons.

They even won some fun prizes during our balloon shoot

These were the best dressed awards. The Barbies were for each line. A local machining company made the stands for us as a donation

and another one of our members Lynn made this bow which is fully functioning out of PVC pipe and Intermountain Hydrographics dipped it as a donation for us too!

I dont think 'Sonny boy' knew what he was getting himself into for the day! But he did wear his pink apron to fit in!
Wayne won best dressed
Bucky is one of our favorites. He is a crack up. He comes to as many of our shoots as he can also. He went and got his hair (which is real) nails and makeup done. He looked amazing! Hes well over 6'2 so he looks even better in a dress ha!
Brandon and BearsButt... oops I mean he was going by CinderButt for the day
Phil, Mom, Me and Todd shot in the 1 o clock line. I shot the WORSE Ive pretty much ever shot ha! But we had fun!

Martha needed a place to keep things.. so she put her cell phone and money and allen wrenches in her bra

Us with the Susan G Komen girls
We stayed at the shoot until about 3. Then we went home to make Kennedy take a nap before we went to dinner. She had an absolute blast and played with Katlyn most the day. She didnt want to leave at all but we figured if we didnt make her go home and rest before we had to be at the banquet at 6 she would get sick again or be crabby. So we left and missed the last two lines!
This was the 3 o clock line
and the 5 o clock
It was so wonderful to see so much support again this year! 100% of all the proceeds go to the foundation AND stay in Utah. Its so nice to see all the guys being tough enough to be girls for a day and help a great cause. Its hilarious to watch them. 90% of them show up in boots and dresses. They cant keep their hands off their boobs and readjusting them all day. They start complaining their backs hurt, their hairs in their face, the dress sucks or so do the pantyhose, they have no where to put anything, they're losing everything. Its great to sit back and watch!

We ended up raising $3500 this year again!! Way to go to everyone who donated! Thank you!!
