Halloween!

Saturday morning started out with Kennedy and I sleeping in while the boys all went out duck hunting. We decided to have a Mom/Daughter morning. We had cinnamon rolls and scrambled eggs for breakfast. I let her wear her costume all day long. We had a dance party in the living room with Halloween music and she felt the need to wear her new church shoes.
We danced and sang and laughed our little hearts out.
Tammy had called and asked if she could get K to go get a Dirty Diet and they trick or treated for a minute.
From there we ran a few places and one of them was Grandma and Grandpas. Grandma Chris had FULL size candy bars!
Next was the trunk or treat. Tammy had a trunk and saved Kennedy the first spot in line! She was so excited!
Grandma Tammys so good to her!
Every year we invite Todd and Jana to come trunk or treating with her. They love it almost as much as Kennedy does.
She had to make sure he was walking with with her and wasn't scared. She is a daddys girl and this picture shows how much!
The trunk or treat didnt have NEAR as many trunks as last year and not as many fun ones. Chris and I were talking we may have to do one next year!

Kennedy LOVES Halloween but HATES anything scary or being scared.
There were a lot of 'trunks' she would quickly grab candy and run.

Her shoe came untied so we had to stop and when we got back in line we were with the Mund kids. Chris isnt happy unless hes picking on one of them.

Doug and Mary
Kennedy was too afraid to get candy from him.. but we finally talked her into it

her and Tilly just sat there and screamed

The Mund kids and ours were too afraid to go through the little haunted house. Chris was trying to talk them into it and walk with them.

I finally drug Kennedy through it and she screamed and cried and clung to me.
There wasnt anything scary in it. Just walking through it scared her enough.
We did get a thumbs up at the end
When she saw Janice (one of her favorite people) she had to tell her how scary it was.
From there it was off to Liz's house. K had been asking for weeks to go trick or treating with Kinlie. She never gets to trick or treat, she just trunk or treats. Liz had a fun night planned and asked K if she wanted to come trick or treating and then watch movies and have a sleep over. It was bye mom dont let the door hit you on the way!
Kennedy, Klint, Koree and Kinlie
and they were off!
Kennedy had so much fun!!
Chris and I were kind of lost on what to do with out Kennedy on Halloween night. We came home and made dinner.. he watched the world series and yelled at the tv (he kinda gets into baseball) we handed out some candy to a few trick or treaters and were in bed by 9:30.
These sugar high adorable kids came to visit us too and get some candy
