SCBA night

Tuesday night for drill we did a fun skill. We blacked out the windows in our station, pulled out all the apparatus and disassembled 3 SCBA's on the floor. The idea was with or without your gloves on to assemble them and go on air. You had your mask on with your flashood on backwards and we turned off all the lights. It was actually really dark in there but with a good flash and some editing you can see the picts :)
Here is a before we turned off the lights

We turned off the lights and 3 at a time went. This is what it looked like really. Chris's flashlight is on me.
It was a really good drill! The idea is if you're in a building and have an scba failure or are trapped and they bring you in a new tank while they're working on getting you out, being able in the dark to change out the harness and hook up a new bottle.
 Finished!

We also were using the thermal imagine camera
