This Memorial Day weekend was not that fantastic for weather! On Saturday Liz and I took the kiddos fishing at the spillway in Willard. Its for kids 12 and under to fish at. The city had just stocked it with a bunch of trout.

Dad stopped by for a min to check on us. We hadn't had a single bite! Nothing!
Dane, Elysha and Parker showed up on the other side of the spillway. It was kinda funny all 3 of us girls were there fishing there at the same time with our kids.

The water gets to the spillway from here. The snow on the mountains melts. Runs down a waterfall there, comes down a river that ends at the spillway (right behind the waterfall on the highway in Willard) So the water is very very cold. Its freshly melted snow.
It all started out so innocent.
Kennedy and Kinlie asked if they could put their feet in the water.
Sure go ahead.
Kennedy never gets cold. Her hands and feet can be freezing and she isn't bothered by it.

Can we PLEASE take off our clothes and go swimming??!?

We made them leave their underwear on at least.
They stayed in the water forever.
They had an absolute BLAST!
