Malad Trap Shoot

Last weekend Chris and I headed up to his trap shoot in Malad after I got off work on Saturday

We met a big group of people

We got there in time for the big bonfire and hanging out

There were steaks and dutch oven potatoes and about 4 pasta salads for dinner

Half the people decided to go over to Critters Bar in town for the night

We loaded up truck fulls and had the young 'uns (under 21) drive us there

We found this guy outside

We made sure he was breathing haha and someone drove him home

The place was packed inside!!!!

I danced and danced and had a good night

We went back and slept on the floor of Dickamores camper

There were 14 people and two kids packed in there and we actually had plenty of room

The next morning everyone woke up and had left over steak and potatoes for breakfast or Burger King

Everyone there had to shoot at different times

There were about 40 teams with 5 people on each team

Each team had a time block to shoot in

He tried to teach me to swing dance again when we were at Critters

I think I only stepped on his toes a few times

I am SO not a dancer

Everyone just hung out around camp all morning

Went down to watch people shoot then came back

There was a little schedule issue and I ended up having to run down to Willard at 9am on Sunday morning and pickup my peanut

She had a blast up there

There were 2 other kids just a little younger than her and they played and played and played!

He was so funny

He had to turn his gun around and have gravity help him rack a round in

then he'd flip it back around and could barely hold it up and shoot

BUT he was hitting them!!!!

I was so impressed I just sat and watched him

They ended up being assigned to the same team

Justin ended up getting an award

Chris and Coltons team won 2nd place

The girl next to Chris was the E shooter and did awesome and she was way way pregnant

They won dutch ovens and an award

Chelsea, Justin's wife, team won first place

and she won an award also

For first place her team got coolers and an award
