Low Angle Ropes Training

Tuesday night for drill we practiced low angle rescues, We hardly ever use our ropes set ups so it was nice to familiarize ourselves with everything we have and how to use it again. Our groups job was to first set up the ropes system. We found our anchor, set up our system and set up our safety line. Down below they were packaging our 'patient' on the backboard and then into the stokes basket.

Once we got everything set up we started hoisting the patient up the hill

and then let slack out back down the hill

From there we switched jobs. We now packaged the patient up... who happened to be me.. and did the same thing

It was a great learning experience. Next week will be high angle. Cant wait!
