Paris Ice Caves

Saturday we had good weather and took a drive over to the Paris Ice Caves. Its a place I had been wanting to see for quite a while but we'd never had a chance to make it there. No one had heard of it and they all thought I was crazy and meant Minnetonka.  The drive there was really pretty.

Then we headed down to the start of the caves

We crossed over into the main opening of the cave

Todd, Jana, Roy and Kathy stayed on the open main part of the cave while the rest of us went deeper into the other part of the ice cave. This is the opening you have to crawl through to get inside. It really is wider than it looks.
Kennedy kept giving me crazy eyes every time I tried to take her picture near the ice

We hiked back out to the main area and talked Todd into coming back in with us. Hunter, Todd and I went back in.

We headed back out. The caves were so nice and cool!

From there Hunter and I hiked on top of the caves to look down inside.
There were people hiking down inside and a couple getting ready to rapel down
