They had a 2 hour time window we were able to walk across part of the base to go see his barracks
I made him stand next to his locker for a picture
He's getting good at just telling me Yes ma'am hahah
It had to be all nice and tidy and everything so evenly spaced
It was cracking his mom up
He took off his coat and we were all like wow!!
Youve lost so much weight!!
So he had to model for a picture again
After we toured some more of where he had been living we left and drove down to the riverwalk to eat dinner at the Salt Grass Steak House

He hadnt been able to eat 'real food' in a long time
They had an extremely strict diet while in basic
There were so many foods they werent allowed to eat and it was all healthy
So they ordered appetizers (cheese fries) and he was all lined up next to their table with his plate ready to go!
Dinner was good but to be honest Texas Road house is way better!!!
Bruce was so sweet and bought ALL of our dinner!

Isn't the river walk AWESOME? I really liked San Antonio. I could easily live there I think.
