Family Ice Fishing Day

My parents decided to take ALL of us out fishing

Me, Kennedy, Parker, Elysha, Liz and Kinlie

We headed up early Tuesday morning to Hyrum

It was nice and sunny but a little cold

Dad got out the auger and started drilling ice holes

The kiddos were a little cold as we were waiting

Here's the kids tent and dads tent

Such a pretty day though!

The ice was SUPER thick too and we weren't far off the dam

Mom keepin warm in the tent

We had the propane heater going and it was getting nice and toasty

He was so intent on catching a fish!

Parker wanted a fish so bad

Its a tradition to have raspberry filled donuts when we go anywhere with dad

To keep the kids entertained and focused we said we'd give the first donut to whoever caught the first fish

After a while we just ate donuts and Parker REFUSED to eat one until he caught a fish!

Kennedy ended up getting the very first fish!!!

Then it was Parkers turn!

Liz went to grab it coming out of the ice hole and it fell back in

Dad in his nice and quiet tent away from everyone!

After a while the kids got bored so we went out and had races on the ice

The twins were laughing and videoing us out of the hole in the tent

My dad called Parker to his tent

He asked him to come hold his pole while he got a drink :)

All of a sudden Parker had a fish on the pole!

Imagine that!!

Then Kinlie caught a fish also!

Oh and Liz dyed her hair dark again and has extensions so she looks just like Elysha now

Our family friend Nate showed up after a few hour and decided to come join our crazy group!

It was play time again

We busted out the sled and pulled the kids around

Then they pulled each other

We caught a few more fish!

These are all the ones the kids caught

Us girls had to leave early to go to work

After we left Mom Dad and Nate moved into the big tent

They caught about 18 more fish!!!!

It was a blast!

Too bad we had to cut it short!

The kids had so much fun catching all the fish
