Fireworks at the park

For this years 4th of July festivities there are a ton of blog posts!
The only way to do it was divide it up into a bunch of posts so there wasnt one with 300 pictures!
There is always so much fun and excitement to do.
Its too much fun!!!!
Our town of Willard puts on an fabulous celebration!

The last thing of the night is fireworks at the baseball park.
A live band plays until the fireworks start.
We got there about 7:30 or so to save our spot on the lawn.

Yes she's licking me..
I was holding her down and she though it would make me let her go
The entertainment
They also do another candy drop
Everyone goes out into the baseball field
Some of the candy makes it outside of the field and thats where Kennedy gets hers from
Raising the flag for the ceremony later
God Bless America
Our friends Jeff and Kayla Velasquez, their kids Lexi and Dallas, and puppy Rascal showed up also.
See the 4 wheeler in the background...
Its how we got to the park..
Thats how we do it in Willard :)
Baby Dallas.
He's just tiny.
But has these big brown eyes that suck you right in!
The plane with the sky divers
See those microscopic dots.. those are the sky divers
Nic and Liz
The singing of the National Anthem
They not only sing the National Anthem but they also read the folding of the flag
.....the bombs bursting in air..
perfectly timed fireworks!

While we were sitting there a couple infront of us was making out.
My mom started throwing Nutter Butter cookies at them.
Yes.
She did.
They'd stop and look around and then she'd throw a few more.
She said "They never think its the old lady!!!"

Almost dark enough to start the show.
All the kids had their glow sticks on
Willard always does an incredible fireworks show

Happy 4th of July.
Something about watching fireworks with patriotic music in the background just makes you tear up.
Makes you proud to be an American.
Makes you love the flag and our country just a little bit more than you already do.
