215-We shall call this Saturday

Saturday was such a full day! It started at 9am with Zack knocking on the door ha! He missed us.
He had a few errands to do and then wanted to take the boat out for a spin later. Chris was already working in the backyard. He started bringing Grizz down on Friday so that he can start working with him and to let him play. He's such an adorable puppy! He's only 6 months old and still awkward and playful. He followed Kennedy EVERYWHERE in the yard.
She was riding her power wheels wheeler in the back yard and in her words she was 'tearing it up'
Grizz ran right along next to her each lap to make sure she was ok
Chris started working on the irrigation head-gate area. We technically dont have irrigation water but our neighbor does and she doesnt use about 4 hours of it. Shes given us a water schedule and told us to take it. It runs off into our backyard anyways. So we have talked with her and Chris worked on making a catch so the water will fill up a pipe and then go out a smaller pipe so it wont just flood our yard and can be controlled
This little girl was maybe riding a whole 2 minutes before she tried to climb hills. I dont know what it is about her but once she gets on a wheeler she is fearless. I made her go put on her helmet after that!
Can you see the dog hiding in the picture??
I turned on the sprinkler for Kennedy
Grizz was sure the water was for him and played with it NON STOP

Mom! Grizz wont share the sprinkler with me!

Todd and Jana came over to help hang some rails in the garage to hang all our coats and hunting gear on. Ash and Ry stopped in too. Us girls sat out back in lawn chairs talking while the kids played and the boys bonded. Ry decided she needed a handfull of dirt for lunch
The guys cut the big piece of pipe.. Pretty much it sits upright in the hole.. its pipped on one end and the water flows into that and fills it. It has a pipe coming out the other end that runs onto the property to send out the water.. you following now
Pipes in the ground and dirt being filled in around it
As they were finishing up Zack had came back and was ready to go boating. Ash had already left and Todd and Jana were just getting ready to go. Chris was going to stay home and work on the house MORE but Todd talked him into going out and having fun for a minute! We headed down to the North Marina at Willard Bay. I have never ever in my entire life seen the launch lines SO FREAKING long. It took us almost 40 minutes from the time we pulled into line until the boat was free in the water. When we were in line a guy stopped us and said just so you know the water in the marina is about 2 1/2 feet deep. Once you get out of the marina you go up to about 18 feet but thats it. Zack decided he still wanted to launch and he'd just keep the motor up
Kennedy and I were the first ones out in the tube. She wasnt loving it but she had fun ha!

Then Chris and I braved it for a few rounds

Then Chris went a few by himself. I was wiped out by then!
Look at that smile :)

We talked Zack into a few rounds himself. He let me drive. Paybacks suck!!

When we first got there the water was pretty choppy and there were a lot of boats. They all started clearing out pretty fast though. The weather was good. Not too hot and not too sunny
We parked the boat and swam for a little bit
Thats Kennedy's favorite part

We only could spend a few hours out there because we had a dinner to go to at 7:30 in South Ogden.
We headed back into the marina. This is something I have never seen before at the bay! This boat got STUCK in the marina. It was only in about a foot of water. It was so strange to see them standing next to the boat like that
The marina was full of boats as we loaded up but we made pretty good time. We were able to stay to the north and in about 3ft of water
We hurried to get cleaned up and went to Kobe for dinner. None of us had ever eaten there before. It was Chris' cousin Chase's birthday party there. They had a river pretty much inside with a bridge over it and koi fish everywhere. Kennedy was mesmerized by them. Chris gave her some change and let her feed the fish
I didnt know this but Chris had never been to a Tempanyaki style restaurant before. He was in awe it was so cute! He thought it was THE coolest thing ever. Him and our cook were teasing and bantering back and forth. And those who know Chris know hes not quiet so he was clapping and yelling (nicely), laughing and telling the guy how awesome they were. The chef kept fist bumping him. It was a riot. The chef made his big flame and told Kennedy her eyebrows were now gone. She checked and said he only took off half of them mom
She loved it too. We only ordered her an appetizer of chicken strips since she doesnt eat a whole lot and figured the appetizers would come faster than the normal food and she was starving. The plan was she could eat that and then eat whatever she wanted off my plate if she was still hungry. Well the chef loved her and kept calling her sweetie. He put a little of EVERYTHING he made on her plate. He gave her rice, noodles, steak, chicken, shrimp. She was loving it
Our chef was named Mike and he was the best! One of the funnest ones Ive ever had
Since it was Chase's birthday after he was done cooking he asked how old and said "Im gonna light the floor on fire if you wanna take a picture"
So they lit the floor on fire ha!
They they all came out and sang happy birthday to him
It was a fun night!! We had SO much food. I brought home a to go container full of pretty much just Kennedys left overs!
