Temple open house

We had the opportunity to go to the Brigham City Temple Open house on Monday night. There were so many people there but we didn't have to wait in line very long. It moved pretty quickly. Pretty sure it happened to be Willard Stake night there too because I knew almost all of the ushers inside! It was very pretty.

You start out in the parking garage and go into a temporary room they've made. Watch a 12 minute video on temples and it explains the rooms you will see. They file you around and you get booties on your shoes so you don't track in stuff. Then the silent tour starts. I've never been on a silent tour before. It's all quiet. No talking. Just the shuffle shuffle of booty feet. I was amazed at how many people can't pick up their feet when they walk!!!! You Jp through certain rooms and they have posters explaining what you're going into and ushers at every turn and corner.

It was very pretty inside and some of the artwork was awesome!!!! It was really neat to be able to go through something so significant but so "hometown" at the same time.

Chris's family was about fifteen minutes ahead of us in line and after we all met at Taco Time for dinner. This was the first time I've ever got to see Chris all dressed up. I kinda liked it hehe
