Chris wasnt at Sunday dinner because he was off picking up about 1600 sq feet of sod. He found a killer deal.. 2 1/2 pallets of dormant cut sod for $75. Its perfect because we can lay it now and it wont start to grow til spring next year so we dont have to worry about it freezing. Sunday night he was only able to drop the pallets off in the yard and had to lay it Monday after work.
His friend Troy came over to help lay it
and then Zack stopped by because he saw we were outside working.. well the boys were. I was inside making dinner for everyone. Brats, cheesy rice and fried potatoes. Todd came over to help and Jana came inside to visit. Then Liz and Kyle brought Kinlie over to play. We had a full house!! We almost had enough sod to take it all the way to the front. We just need a little bit more to fill in that gap and we will be good. Our lawn looks so horrible right now and so pieced together.. but by spring next year it will be awesome!
We just tripled the amount of grass woo woo!
