317-319 MOVING

Wednesday as soon as I got off work Kennedy and I went over to Todd and Jana's new house to help clean. We worked there for a few hours and then it was time to go to Kennedys archery class. She did great! Kyle F..thats what we shall call bro Kyle.. and Karly (his wife) son Dominik was there learning to shoot. Grandma Teri (Kyle F's mom) brought him and his sister Kesleigh. Kennedy was so excited to see Grandma Teri. Between her shooting times she sat on her lap and visited. Elysha and Liz were there too so Grandma Teri got to hold Macee and catch up with everyone. I took some picts of Dom for his mom and sent them to her. He was doing really good. Dom and Parker are friends so they had a blast having boy time shooting next to each other.

Another thing happened Wednesday night... Chris and Todd resigned from Brigham City Fire Dept. It was a little bitter sweet for them..they had put in so much time and effort, made so many sacrifices for the years they were there. It just wasn't feasible anymore for them to stay there. So together they handed in their letters.
We went back to Todd and Jana's and boxed up more of the house. We finished loading the white trailer and took a load out to Willard
I am standing right behind my car in this picture. I had Kennedy go sit in it with it running while we backed Chris's truck onto the trailer. One so I knew where she was and she wouldn't accidentally get ran over in the dark.. and two so that she could stay warm. It was dang cold!! Jana had pulled her car right behind mine and was waiting in her car. Todd, Chris and I backed the trailer on and made sure everything was ready to go to Willard. When I got into the car (shes been in there maybe 5 minutes) She was bawling and mad. I asked her why she was crying. She said "when you leave me alone in the car like this it makes me feel like you want me to be kidnapped or stolen!!!" I tried really really hard not to laugh at that. I asked her if she turned around and saw Grandma Jana sitting in her car right behind her.. No.. Did you turn around and see Dad, Grandpa Todd and Mom backing the truck onto the trailer... No... Well you weren't out here by yourself! We were all outside with you, you just got to sit in the car and stay warm. "Well it still made me sad" Oh this kid.. she can be a little dramatic at times!
After our long day we relaxed in the new kitchen for a minute. It was all scrubbed and clean!!!
The guy before had living room furniture all set up in the dinning area. They liked that set and needed an second one for downstairs (there is a formal living room upstairs and a BIG family room downstairs) We had to take them all downstairs that night and get ready for the tables to be delivered the next morning.
The next morning I had to go to a training at work for a few hours. After that we were back at Todd and Jana's unloading stuff. We set Kennedy up in the kids room upstairs to color. Thats her favorite thing to do! She had this room all to herself!
Boxes boxes boxes boxes. Thats all our day resolved around!!!
We unloaded the trailer. Jana, Kathy and I spent most the time working on the kitchen. We had to make another trip back to Brigham for more stuff. Kyle W (bro in law) and Shafer were kind enough to meet us there and help Chris, Todd and I. That was beds, couches etc so it was heavy stuff!
We were exhausted!!! Thankfully my mom brought us all down dinner. Sloppy Joe's and chips. It was amazing and perfect. All of us were just out of steam! We were there until about 10 pm unloading boxes and trying to put somethings away.
Friday morning we were there bright and early again. Chris, Todd and Phil finished up the storage shed, the shed and most of the BC house. Jana and I tackled the kitchen. Putting away dishes, silverware, pantry stuff, appliances. We pretty much spent the entire day just doing the kitchen and dinning room. There was so much stuff. Thankfully there is a lot of storage space!!! My mom was awesome again and brought down everyone lunch. Sliced potatoes with cream of mushroom sauce, cheese and sliced brats that were made from dads antelope with jalapeno and cheese inside of them. She also brought us a nice green salad and dressing since we hadn't packed the fridge yet! We hooked Kennedy up with movies downstairs and the fire place going. She wanted to watch Christmas movies. She danced and sang and sat on every piece of furniture.
Then we switched to Princess Diaries
Jana and I kept plugging away on the kitchen. Chris, Todd and Phil brought us a trailer full of more things.. and more kitchen stuff to put away. I about cried lol! The boys went and met Kyle and Shafer and Kyles dad at the BC house to get the hot tub and gun safes. Those were the BIG HEAVY things they were stressing about getting moved. Ash and Ry showed up to visit and then the boys did too. We seriously had been so busy I really hadn't taken any pictures in two days! I figured I had to make it up with this adventure!!

It helps to have friends with cool toys. Todd and Chris have a friend who owns a stone engraving company.. like headstones and large decor rocks. So he brought out his headstone truck (thats what Ive named it) to lift the safes since they were SOOOOO heavy. It was a lifesaver!!! He also had a HUGE heavy duty dolly to wheel them on which made it that much easier!

That night we were beat. Zack stopped by after work to help. Todd and Jana ordered pizza and invited mom down since she had fed us for two days! We all hung out down stairs, enjoyed the fire, and relaxed for a minute. We still have so much more to put away and a trailer to unload and a few more things to get from the BC house.. but we are getting there!!
Kennedy and Chris were practicing her reading and writing :)
