We started off Friday morning at 0300. Chris jumps out of bed and starts getting dressed. I look at him and ask him what the hell is he doing? He says getting ready for work! I laugh and say its Friday duh!! He tells me he just got called into plow for work. Apparently its snowing pretty good everywhere but our house. He heads off to work. I finally fall back asleep. Spent the day cooking, cleaning, organizing, getting our spare room all put together. Chris came home about noon and I was still going.Dinners in the crock pot. House is cleaned. Laundry is done. Dishes are done. Kennedys taking a nap because shes exhausted. I am too by this point. Todd and Jana traded in her Caddy for an electric car. They came by to show us. It was pretty neat! Then Chris went off to get some wood for our fire place. Todd and Jana got some coal too and sent Chris home with some. We ate dinner and had the fire place roaring. Its 8pm by this point. Its been a long day of running, working and cleaning. Chris brings in this mesh thing with a handle on it I hadnt seen before.. he opens the doors of the fire place and puts the screen on. Its so you can see the fire if you want too. How cool is that! He turned off the lights and came and sat on the couch with me.
We spent the next 30 minutes cuddling on the couch enjoying the fire place while he waited for the news to come on so we could go to bed lol! He has to see the weather before he can go to bed usually. Especially if there is a storm coming. It doesnt matter he has to check the acu weather on his phone several times a day.
