Saturday night my parents invited Kennedy and I down to come to the Archery World Cup Finals and awards ceremony.
It was a night of freebies!
We pulled into park and the guy said 2 dollars.
I went to get Kennedy out of the car and he said "Oh never mind its free since you have her!"
My parents had been working the event (mostly mom) and they got us VIP hookups.
They had a group of junior archers fire the first shots of the night
We had good seats but they were using binoculars to see the targets..even though they had it on a big screen too
My parents hooked us up with the prime rib dinner catered by Sandys Catering. Prime rib, baked potato, salad, rolls and cheesecake!
Its where all the archers eat too.
Kennedy was making friends with a shooter from Germany.

Kennedy heard that the rodeo princesses and queens were going to be handing out awards that night.
All she wanted to do was meet one!
It was all she talked about.
My dad found some and we had her picture taken with them.
Believe it or not she was so excited she was shy!
Kennedy kept asking "mom! where are their horses? how can they give out statues with out their horses?!"
It was neat to see so many different cultures there.
They even had a woman archer from Iran!
USA cleaned house!
They won gold in every event but one!
